Step II-8. Think how the elements react with each other.

Earth mixed with water muddies it so the two energies can inhibit each other. Earth dumped on fire puts it out. It will inhibit the adventurous and creative aspect of fire.

Earth and air will compliment each other because earth will keep the changeable air grounded and practical.

Air will fan a fire to burn brighter or it can, if strong enough, put it out.

Social contact, speech (the bouncing of ideas around with others), and change of point of view, all can enhance the creativity, the adventure that is Fire. However, too much socializing or trying to please others and change of mind can inhibit creative expression and sense of adventure.

Water will make a fire hiss and spark, but enough of it will extinguish it.

Water, being alone, study, meditation, and intuition can support the creative, adventure, energy of fire, but too much isolation, study of others ideas and opinions can dampen your own spark of adventure and creativity.

If there is a majority of earth in the name, you will tend to be very conservative, practical, and “earth bound.” You may be rigid in your thinking, practical to a fault, and very materialistic in beliefs and in the accumulation of money, power, and things,

If there is a majority of air in the name, you will tend to be “flighty.” You will not make sense and you will be so changeable that you will not be dependable. You will always need others around and will want to dominate any conversation.

Eight Black represents rebellion, a negative outlook, and the will.

Nine Gold represents wisdom, counseling, and the spiritual realms.

Eleven Pink represents peace, devotion, endurance, and the mystical.

Twenty-two Brown represents being dependable and being who you are by not putting on a false front.

Count your colors to see how many of each you have listing the numbers from the most frequent to the least frequent and then totaling to see if it matches the number of letters in you name. Refer to Step 1 above.
