Introducción

En esta publicación, la Oficina Estadística de las

Comu-nidades Europeas presenta regularmente los resultados

detallados de las estadísticas armonizadas sobre las

re-tribuciones de los obreros y de los empleados en la

industria y en ciertos grupos de actividad de los

servi-cios. Se publican, además, regularmente los principales

resultados de las encuestas sobre el coste de la mano de

obra y la actualización de estos datos para los años que

transcurren entre dos encuestas.

El volumen 1-1983 de esta publicación contiene la

des-cripción de los métodos y definiciones necesaria para la

interpretación de estas estadísticas.

La estadística armonizada de las retribuciones

propor-ciona información sobre la retribución bruta por hora

abonada a los obreros de la industria, así como sobre la

retribución mensual bruta de los empleados de la

indus-tria y de los servicios (comercio al por mayor y al por

menor, instituciones de crédito y seguros).

Los datos se han evaluado según la NACE

(Nomenclatu-ra gene(Nomenclatu-ral de las actividades económicas en las

Comu-nidades Europeas); representan de forma sistemática

todas las posiciones de dos dígitos, así como ciertas

subdivisiones más detalladas adoptadas de común

acuerdo por los países.

Estas informaciones permiten sobre todo comparar la

evolución a corto plazo en los diferentes países

partien-do de las mismas bases.

Esta publicación presenta, por otra parte, para los

gran-des grupos de actividad las retribuciones por hora de los

obreros en la industria y las retribuciones mensuales de

los empleados en la industria y en los servicios

converti-dos en Standards de Poder Adquisitivo (SPA), lo que

permite una comparación directa de las retribuciones

entre los diferentes países (ver nota explicativa del

cua-dro I/1C).

Los resultados de las estadísticas se presentan de forma

detallada por países y, en ciertos países

, por regiones.

Los cuadros 1/1 a I/4 reflejan las retribuciones brutas por

hora de los obreros de la industria. Las retribuciones

brutas mensuales de los empleados de la industria

aparecen en los cuadros 11/1 a II/3. Los cuadros 111/1 a

III/3 se refieren a las retribuciones brutas mensuales de

los empleados en los servicios. El cuadro IV/1 refleja el

coste de la mano de obra en la industria y los servicios.

Einleitung

In der vorliegenden Reihe veröffentlicht das Statistische

Amt der Europäischen Gemeinschaften in regelmäßigen

Abständen die detaillierten Ergebnisse der

harmonisier-ten Statistiken der Verdienste der Arbeiter und der

Ange-stellten in der Industrie und in größeren Gruppierungen

des Dienstleistungsbereiches. Außerdem werden darin

auch regelmäßig die wichtigsten Ergebnisse der

Erhe-bungen über die Arbeitskosten sowie die

entsprechen-den aktualisierten Angaben für die Jahre zwischen zwei

Erhebungen wiedergegeben.

Eine Beschreibung der verwendeten Methoden und

Defi-nitionen, deren es zur Auswertung dieser Statistiken

be-darf, ist Band 1-1983 dieser Veröffentlichung zu

entneh-men.

Die harmonisierte Verdienststatistik enthält Angaben

über den Bruttostundenverdienst, der den Arbeitern in

der Industrie tatsächlich gewährt wird, sowie Angaben

über den Bruttomonatsverdienst der Angestellten in der

Industrie und im Dienstleistungsgewerbe (Groß- und

Ein-zelhandel, Kreditwesen und Versicherungsgewerbe).

Die Daten sind nach der NACE (Allgemeine Systematik

der Wirtschaftszweige in den Europäischen

Gemein-schaften) gegliedert; es werden systematisch alle

zwei-stelligen NACE-Positionen sowie bestimmte weiter

ge-hende Untergliederungen, auf deren Berücksichtigung

sich die Mitgliedstaaten geeinigt haben, erfaßt.

Aufgrund dieser Angaben ist es vor allem möglich, die

kurzfristige Entwicklung in den verschiedenen Ländern

auf einheitlicher Basis zu vergleichen.

Außerdem enthält die vorliegende Veröffentlichung

An-gaben für jeweils vier Hauptbereiche der Industrie und

der Dienstleistungen sowie Angaben über die

Stunden-verdienste der Arbeiter in der Industrie und über die

Monatsverdienste der Angestellten in der Industrie und

im Dienstleistungsbereich. Diese Daten werden in

Kauf-kraftstandards (KKS) umgerechnet, was einen

unmittel-baren Vergleich der Verdienstniveaus in den einzelnen

Mitgliedstaaten ermöglicht (siehe Erläuterung zu Tabelle

1/1/c).

Die Ergebnisse der Statistiken werden ferner in

ausführ-licher Darstellung nach Mitgliedstaaten, für bestimmte

Mitgliedstaaten (') auch nach Regionen, aufgeführt. In

den Tabellen 1/1 bis I/4 sind die Bruttostundenverdienste

der Arbeiter in der Industrie ausgewiesen. Die

Bruttomo-natsverdienste der Angestellten in der Industrie sind in

den Tabellen 11/1 bis II/3 aufgeführt. Die Tabellen III/1 bis

IM/3 geben die Bruttomonatsverdienste der Angestellten

im Dienstleistungsgewerbe wieder. In der Tabelle IV/1

schließlich sind die Arbeitskosten in der Industrie und im

Dienstleistungsgewerbe erfaßt.

Introduction

This publication, issued regularly by the Statistical Office

of the European Communities, gives detailed results of

the harmonized statistics on the earnings of manual and

non-manual workers in industry and certain groups of

activities in the services sector. It also gives the main

results of the surveys of labour costs and updated figures

for the years between two surveys.

An explanation of the methods and definitions used,

necessary for interpretation of these statistics, was

published in Volume 1-1983 of the publication.

The harmonized statistics of earnings provide

infor-mation on the hourly gross amounts actually paid to

in-dustrial manual workers and the gross monthly earnings

of non-manual workers in industry and services

(whole-sale and retail distribution, credit institutions and

insur-ance).

The data are broken down according to NACE (General

Industrial Classification of Economic Activities within

the European Communities); they include all two-digit

headings plus a number of more detailed subdivisions

agreed by the countries.

Short-term trends in the various countries can therefore

be compared on the same basis from this information.

The publication also gives the hourly earnings of manual

workers in industry and the monthly earnings of

non-manual workers in industry and in services converted into

purchasing power standards (PPS) for major groups of

economic activities; this means that the level of earnings

in the various countries can be compared directly (see

explanatory note to Table l/1/c).

The results of the statistics are given in detail by country

and, for some countries, (') by region. Tables 1/1 to I/4

cover the gross hourly earnings of industrial manual

workers. The gross monthly earnings of non-manual

workers in industry are given in Tables 11/1 to II/3. Tables

111/1 to IN/3 show the gross monthly earnings of

non-manual workers in services. Table IV/1 covers labour

costs in industry and services.

Introduction

Dans cette publication, l'Office statistique des

Commu-nautés européennes présente régulièrement les

résul-tats détaillés des statistiques harmonisées des gains des

ouvriers et des employés dans l'industrie et dans certains

groupes d'activité des services. De plus, les principaux

résultats des enquêtes sur le coût de la main-d'œuvre et

l'actualisation de ces données pour les années

inter-médiaires entre deux enquêtes y sont régulièrement

publiés.

La description des méthodes et définitions, nécessaire à

l'interprétation de ces statistiques, a été publiée dans le

volume 1-1983 de cette publication.

La statistique harmonisée des gains donne des

informa-tions sur le montant horaire des gains bruts

effective-ment versés aux ouvriers de l'industrie, ainsi que sur les

gains mensuels bruts des employés de l'industrie et des

services (commerce de gros et de détail, institutions de

crédit et assurances).

Les données sont ventilées selon la NACE

(Nomencla-ture générale des activités économiques dans les

Com-munautés européennes); elles présentent de manière

systématique toutes les positions à deux chiffres, ainsi

que certaines subdivisions plus détaillées, arrêtées de

commun accord entre les pays.

Ces informations permettent notamment de comparer

l'évolution à court terme dans les différents pays, sur des

bases identiques.

Par ailleurs, cette publication présente, pour les grands

groupes d'activité, les gains horaires des ouvriers dans

l'industrie et les gains mensuels des employés dans

l'in-dustrie et les services convertis en standards de pouvoir

d'achat (SPA), permettant ainsi une comparaison directe

du niveau des gains entre pays (voir note explicative du

tableau 1/1 C).

Les résultats des statistiques sont présentés de façon

détaillée par pays et, pour certains pays ('), par région.

Les tableaux 1/1 à I/4 concernent les gains horaires bruts

des ouvriers dans l'industrie. Les gains mensuels bruts

des employés dans l'industrie sont donnés aux tableaux

11/1 à II/3. Les tableaux 111/1 à NI/3 se rapportent aux gains

mensuels bruts des employés dans les services. Le

ta-bleau IV/1 concerne le coût de la main-d'œuvre

dans l'industrie et les services.

IV/1. Costo medio, in moneta nazionale e in ECU

Introduzione

Nella presente pubblicazione l'Istituto statistico delle

Comunità europee espone regolarmente i risultati

detta-gliati delle statistiche armonizzate delle retribuzioni degli

operai e degli impiegati nell'industria e in taluni gruppi di

attività dei servizi. In essa sono inoltre presentati i

princi-pali risultati delle indagini sul costo della manodopera e

l'aggiornamento di tali dati per gli anni intercorrenti tra

due indagini.

Il volume 1-1983 della presente pubblicazione contiene la

descrizione dei metodi e delle definizioni a cui è

necessa-rio riferirsi nell'interpretazione delle statistiche.

Le statistiche armonizzate delle retribuzioni forniscono

informazioni sull'ammontare orario delle retribuzioni

lor-de effettivamente corrisposte agli operai lor-dell'industria e

sulle retribuzioni mensili lorde degli impiegati

dell'indu-stria e dei servizi (commercio all'ingrosso e al minuto,

istituti di credito e assicurazioni).

I dati sono ripartiti secondo la NACE (Nomenclatura

ge-nerale delle attività economiche nelle Comunità europee)

e presentano sistematicamente tutte le voci a due cifre,

nonché alcune suddivisioni più dettagliate, stabilite di

comune accordo tra i paesi.

Dette informazioni consentono, in particolare, di

confron-tare l'evoluzione a breve termine nei vari paesi, su basi

identiche.

Per i gruppi principali di attività sono inoltre riportate le

retribuzioni orarie degli operai nell'industria e le

retribu-zioni mensili degli impiegati nell'industria e nei servizi

convertite in standard di potere d'acquisto (SPA), in

mo-do da permettere un raffronto diretto tra paesi dei livelli

retributivi (cfr. nota esplicativa della tabella 1/1 le).

I risultati delle statistiche sono presentati in modo

parti-colareggiato per paese e, per alcuni paesi ('), per

regio-ne. Le tabelle da 1/1 a I/4 riguardano le retribuzioni orarie

lorde degli operai nell'industria. Le tabelle da 11/1 a II/3

riportano le retribuzioni mensili lorde degli impiegati

nell'industria. Le tabelle da IH/1 a IH/3 si riferiscono alle

retribuzioni mensili lorde degli impiegati nei servizi. La

tabella IV/1 riguarda il costo della manodopera

nell'indu-stria e nei servizi.
