Will be providing Christmas Food Baskets on Saturday, Jan. 23rd . Parishioner pick -up time is 10:00am - 11:30am.Thank you Sacred Heart Parish for your generosity for our fellow Parishioners .Our Parish provided 62 Parish families ,and 14 residents at Good Shepherd Gardens with food baskets and Christmas gifts . We Provided over 140 Christmas gift cards. Thank you! Thank You! A

Giant thank you all who provided food, money , and volunteered their time, talent and treasure. We are very Blessed here at Sacred Heart Church to have a Loving and Caring Parish that provides for our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.

We have a request for Food donations, and we are asking for your help. We need you to shop for us, and bring food to our church Narthex. We have received many generous monetary donation. We have tried to utilize the donations received, and place orders with local Grocery Stores. Our ability to place food orders is very challenging at this time. For Example, We placed a $1400.00 food order for a local Grocery Store, and We received $355 dollars worth of the requested items. The Grocery Stores are trying to meet a high demand for food. We would like to request HELP: Volunteers are needed to help assemble food baskets on Friday evening, January 22nd_{, 6:00 pm-9 pm,}

and Saturday morning, January 23rd 9:00 am-Noon. We ask that all volunteers wear a mask. Volunteers need to be between the ages of 16-60 years old. Please contact Susan Grathwohl if you are available to volunteer. Volunteers will meet in the K of C room.

Food: We appreciate all food donations and cash donations. We ask that all food donations be dropped-off at the Church Narthex, and please send all cash donations to the church office. SMRM on the memo line of your check.

Food list: Canned meats, pre-cooked bacon , canned fruit, fruit cups, pudding cups, pasta, macaroni and cheese, shelf milk, evaporated milk, boost, ensure, cereal, Spaghetti sauce, pancake mix, syrup, Maseca , flour, sugar, instant potatoes , hamburger helper, cooking oil, rice, coffee, tea, peanut butter, jelly, oatmeal, juice , ketchup, salad dressing, ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard, jiffy cornbread , cake mix, mixed vegetables, carrots, peas , canned tomatoes, tooth paste , soap, adult diapers SIZE -S, Paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap.: Fresh Food Drop-off : Potatoes, apples, oranges, onions, carrots, etc.

Fresh items to be delivered to the KoC room on Friday evening or Saturday morning by 9:00 am.

Welcome to Sacred Heart School! All classes (Junior Kindergarten – 8th grades) are currently open

for enrollment for the 2021-2022 school year. Personal tours are available by appointment on

Wednesdays. If you are interested in SHCS, we would love to schedule a personal tour with you. For families with financial needs for tuition, the portal for applying for financial assistance will open

on Jan 15th. In addition, the NC Opportunity Scholarship offers financial assistance and their portal opens on Feb 1st.

Campaign on January 31st. The proceeds from this campaign support and enhance all aspects of our Sacred Heart School community including academics leadership, arts, athletics, financial aid

and professional development. Last year’s inaugural campaign was a tremendous success as we received 122% of our goal – a total of just over $100,000! We could NOT have done it without the

generosity and support of our Sacred Heart community – thank you so much! Be ready for some
