AACP Email Language Templates

This document will contain the language to be used in the various emails that will

be sent to the applicant by Certiphi as part of the AACP CBC Program.

Email List:

Name Description

Permissions Request This email is sent upon receipt of the FIRST Acceptance for a single applicant.

Please Note: Only the first admissions action triggers the email. From the email the applicant will know if they were initially accepted by at least one school, but will NOT know through this email

whether or not subsequent acceptances have occurred.

Permissions Reminder If Permissions are not received 5 days after the first “Permissions Request “ email is sent, a follow up from Certiphi is sent reminding the applicant to complete the permissions & disclosure.

Permissions Completed This email confirms the applicant’s completion of the permissions & disclosure forms.

CBC Available for Review This email is sent when the CBC is complete and available for the applicant’s review. It notifies the applicant of the CBC’s availability and also reminds the applicant of the 10 calendar day review period that occurs prior to the CBC’s automatic release to the school(s). CBC Re-Verification This email notifies the applicant that their CBC report has been

re-verified due to the FCRA requirement of re-verifying derogatory information that is over 30 days old since last reporting. The email instructs the applicant to log back in and review the CBC, and reminds the applicant of the CBC’s 10 calendar day automatic release to the school(s).

CBC Pre-Order This email is sent to the list of students who have selected a school participating in the Centralized CBC school immediately following their application submission. This list of students has requested to pre-order a CBC prior to an offer of acceptance.

Permissions Request Email – for Acceptance

Subject: Conditional Acceptance Background Check Consent Request Dear <<first name>>,

You have received this email because you have been conditionally accepted by one or more of the schools participating in the AACP-facilitated pilot program for performing criminal background checks on conditionally accepted applicants. Please note that the requesting school will be notified if consent is not provided, and that failure to provide consent may result in failing to meet the requesting school's admissions requirements.

To provide consent, please follow the instructions below:

1. Paste the link below into your browser: http://www.applicationstation.com

2. Enter the Code: AACP2010 in the Application Station Code field.

3. If you have not already created an account for yourself, click the "SIGN UP NOW" button to do so. Otherwise, just click the "SIGN BACK IN" button to login using your Username and

Password.

4. Follow the instructions on the Application Station web site to complete your Background Investigation Consent forms.

Please note that the requesting school will be notified if consent is not provided, and that failure to provide consent may result in failing to meet the requesting school’s admissions requirements.

*Please also note that during the Background Investigation process, Certiphi Screening, Inc. may contact you to obtain additional information if required.

Permissions Request Reminder

Permissions Completed Email

Subject: Application Station - Student Edition Order Confirmation Dear <<first name>>,

Your Permissions and Disclosure forms are complete and your background investigation has been started. You will receive another email notification when your Background Investigation has been finished and is ready for your review. This typically occurs within 3 to 5 business days, but may take longer due to circumstances outside of our control. You may log back in to Application Station - Student Edition (www.applicationstation.com) at any time to check the status of your investigation or to view your Permissions and Disclosure forms. You will need your Application Station Code and the Username and Password you created when you completed your forms to do so.

CBC Available for Review Email

Subject: Application Station - Student Edition Investigation Completion Dear <<first name>>,

Your Background Investigation is complete and available for your review. To view the Background Investigation, just log back on to the Application Station web site

(www.applicationstation.com) using your Application Station Code, Username and Password.

Please Note: Your background investigation is available for you to view for the next 10 calendar days before it will be released to school(s). Upon viewing the Investigation, please feel free to print a copy for your records.

CBC Re-Verification Email

Subject: Application Station - Student Edition Investigation Re-Verification Dear <<first name>>,

An additional participating school has requested a copy of your national background report.

As per program guidelines your report has been re-verified and is available for your review. Your report will be released automatically in ten calendar days.

To view the Background Investigation, just log back on to the Application Station web site (www.applicationstation.com) using your Application Station Code, Username and Password.

Please Note: Your background investigation is available for you to view for the next 10 calendar days before it will be released to new school(s). Upon viewing the Investigation, please feel free to print a copy for your records.

CBC Pre-Order Email

Subject: Pre-Order Background Check Consent Request Dear <<first name>>,

You have designated one or more pharmacy schools participating in the AACP-facilitated pilot program for performing criminal background checks on conditionally accepted applicants. If you are conditionally accepted by one or more of the schools participating in the AACP-facilitated pilot program, you will be required to submit to a criminal background check.

You have received this email because you have requested to review your background screening report at your own expense through Certiphi Screening, Inc. (a Vertical Screen® Company).
