With AgriVenture, young Canadians work and live on farms in northern Europe,
United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand or Japan:
•
Programs are 4-12 months in length with guaranteed farm employment and
accommodation provided by an approved host family.
•
Trainees are 18-30 years of age, in good health, with a valid driverís license and an
interest in agriculture/horticulture. Agricultural experience is an asset, but not
necessary.
•
Trainees pay a program fee that includes: airfare including taxes, visa application fees,
medical, travel and baggage insurance, orientation, job & host family placement, 24
hr. emergency contact, administration in home and host country, membership in the
International Agricultural Exchange Association, flight bag.
•
Participants earn a trainee allowance based on a nationally negotiated wage and work
week.
•
Trainees meet other young adults from around the world, gain immeasurable work
and personal experience, and see the world while connected with a safe and reputable
