FDM is a global professional services provider and leading IT graduate employer. Our unique combination of specialist training and skills development transforms high-calibre graduates into professional IT and business Consultants through the FDM Graduate Programme.
Our learning pathways are business or technically focused, enabling you to become a Business or IT Consultant. After the training, our trainees progress to represent the company on client sites as FDM Consultants for a minimum of two years.

We provide graduates with quality IT and business training, invaluable commercial experience and the opportunity for rapid career progression. This addresses and eradicates the problem that so many graduates face today of having academic

Our programme
The Consultant journey
FDM’s two-year Graduate Programme is designed to give you the technical and professional expertise to succeed as an IT or business Consultant working on site with some of the world’s largest organisations. Your journey will begin in FDM’s Academy where you will receive foundation training before moving on to your individual learning pathway. After 10-16 weeks in training, you will become a professional IT or business Consultant and be placed on site with one of our
high-profile clients. The training fees and travel expenses during training are covered
by FDM and in lieu of this we ask you to represent FDM for a minimum of two years.

Our programme
FDM has many exciting opportunities for graduates to become IT and business Consultants in mainland China, Hong Kong and Singapore. We are seeking high-calibre IT and numerical science graduates to join our Graduate Programme and work on our client sites in Asia.
Successful candidates will receive training within FDM’s London, Leeds or Glasgow
Academies before flying to Asia to spend two years working as an FDM Consultant on site with our high-profile clients including Commerzbank AG, HSBC, Standard Chartered, Murex, BNP Paribas and Avaloq.
Essential Criteria:

Achieved a 2:1 degree or above in an IT, Engineering,
Mathematics, Science or related discipline

Fluent in English as well as Cantonese or Mandarin

Determined to build a successful career in IT and finance
(FDM’s APAC clients are mostly in the banking sector)

The FDM
MSc Programme
A Master’s coupled with commercial experience is an excellent foundation for a career, which is why FDM has developed an MSc in Applied Computer Science in partnership with the University of Brighton.
FDM’s MSc Programme is designed for selected FDM Consultants in the Development pathways who prove that they have the skills and drive to achieve the qualification. The MSc fees are paid for by FDM and chosen candidates work full-time for FDM whilst studying part-time and working on a dissertation project.

3. Assessment Day
If you pass the telephone interview stage you will be invited to
attend an Assessment Day at one of our centres in
London, Leeds or
Glasgow. During your Assessment Day you will complete different
tasks and exercises including a maths test, in addition to interviews
with various managers within the business. The Assessment Day
will also give you the opportunity to gain an understanding of our
working environment and visit our offices to see our first class
training facilities for yourself.
Successful candidates at the Assessment Day stage will then be
offered a place on FDM’s award-winning Graduate Programme.

2. Telephone Interview
If you are successful at the initial screening stage, a member of
the Recruitment Team will contact you to conduct a telephone
interview. This will involve competency-based questions about
your interests and a future career with FDM.
