McKesson’s Horizon Meds Manager is OMH’s current pharmacy
software.
Serves 23 inpatient hospital pharmacy departments in 24 hospitals.
Primary support for inpatient, pass and discharge with some
outpatient dispensing.
Records the physician orders for each patient and provides for the
daily medication needs of the inpatient population.
Interfaces with the Cerner Lab, MHARS, NIMRS and Open Dental
systems.
Displays lab results pertinent to the pharmacy that are distributed via
interface from Cerner Lab.
Provides source data for an HL-7 interface to automated dispensing
machines and file drops to automated inventory and Medicare Part D billing.
