Rail King Mobile Railcar Movers
Rail King mobile railcar movers, developed byStewart & Stevenson in 1990, support in-plant railcar switching operations throughout North America and internationally. Warehousing companies, chemical and refining plants, cement facilities and the grain and feed industry, as well as Class 1 railroad companies, utilize Rail King mobile railcar movers to increase productivity in their railcar switching operations.
G5 Rail King, our fifth generation Rail King evolution intro- duced in 2011 for wide cab models, features the latest Tier 4i low emission engine technology and a PLC based electrical control system, seamlessly integrated to provide customers with the well-known Rail King dependability. All Rail King models, both the G4 and G5 series, have independent road wheels and rail wheels for quick, easy mobility on both rail and roadways, an enclosed, insulated cab with unsurpassed visibility for operator safety and efficiency, and a center console with easy view instrument panel.
The G4 series Rail King models feature a side-mount cab configuration with dual direction controls, front and rear facing. The G5 Rail King full-width cab models feature two indepen- dent operator control stations, left and right.

Rental
Stewart & Stevenson operates one of the largest material handling rental programs in the
southwest U.S. Our rental fleet units offer 3,000 to 55,000-pound lift capacities, with up to 1000 units immediately available. Technicians utilizing dedicated service/ PM trucks assure our rental fleet is operational at all times.
Reconditioned Equipment
Stewart & Stevenson cleans and inspects used lift trucks,
reconditions them with replacement parts from our in-house parts department, and then offers them for sale. Buyers get quality, dependable, reconditioned equipment at substantial
savings. Reconditioned units are available in sizes from 3,000 to 100,000-pound lift capacities.
Lease Financing
To make the decision-making process easy for our clients, Stewart & Stevenson thoroughly explains all lift truck features, benefits and specifications, and then assists with the right financing plan. Total Fleet Management
FleetCents, Stewart & Stevenson’s comprehensive fleet monitoring and tracking system, captures andcompiles equipment utilization, maintenance, repair and other cost data on customers’ fleets. Customers have access to the Stewart & Stevenson web portal where they can view real-time cost reports, specific to a unit or a type repair. By tracking all types of repairs, including cost-per-hour calculations and avoidable damages reports, customers can correct fleet issues immediately. FleetCents manages fleets of all sizes, whether in one location or scattered in a number of different locations around the country.
Operator Training
Operator training, required by the federal government, ensures that employees are familiar with all lift truck controls, know how to operate lift trucks in a safe manner and are familiar with all daily operations check points on lift trucks. Failure to have operators properly trained can result in substantial fines. Stewart & Stevenson’s training program fully complies with all federal government training requirements.
