Arvento’s Mobile Data Device equipped in the vehicles, transmit “location data”

from GPS satellites and “telemetric data” from related sensors to the Control and Communication Center via GSM/GPRS network. Arvento Communication Software compiles the data and feeds them into the main database on the servers. Driver Identification Unit

This unit enables users to monitor drivers operating the vehicle, distance travelled and hours driven by a particular driver. The drivers insert their special identification card or use the special buttons or passwords to operate the unit.

Ready-Mix Concrete Mixer Sensor

When direction of rotation changes or rotation stops, an alarm is emitted and headquarters is informed.

Thus it is possible to track if the ready-mix concrete is mixed and poured as planned.

Listening Unit This unit allows the tracking

center to listen inside the vehicle through a microphone placed in the vehicle.

Door Sensor A sensor which is installed on doors allows monitoring where and when the doors are opened or closed and it triggers notifications of the status of the doors.

Audio Communication Kit The audio communication kit allows two-way conversation between center and the vehicle. The vehicle can be called through the installed kit and the driver can call the preset number.

Fuel Tank Lid Sensor

The sensor installed on fuel tank lids allows monitoring where and when the lids are opened or closed. When the fuel tank lid is opened outside of defined or authorized areas, an alert can be sent to prevent fuel theft.

Fuel Level Sensor Fuel Level Sensor installed into the fuel tanks of the vehicles, allows users to easily monitor and check fuel levels of vehicles on-line, real-time or retrospectively, if desired. An alert can be set to notify users in case of sudden and unexpected changes in fuel levels.

Trailer Tracking Sensor

Through this unit, it is possible to track and monitor such information as which tractor is attached with / detached from which trailer and when it is attached/ detached, how much distance such trailer travelled, etc. This unit enables such sensors as temperature, fluid level, moisture, door, etc.

The system allows for automatic tracking of public transportation vehicles’

departure and arrival times at bus stops and reports whether they have complied with the predefined routes and schedules. 39 FLEET PERIODIC MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE FOLLOW UP SYSTEM

The system allows parents and school administration to monitor exact location of their children with respect to their journey in the school buses. Additionally, the system can relay to parents the location of a school bus, if needed via SMS, and eliminates loss of time waiting outdoors. Furthermore, movement of all the buses can be tracked and alerts can be sent for violations such as acceleration and

speeding through email and SMS. The system can also check the travel history of the buses to determine if they followed the predefined routes and to ensure punctuality.

Taxi Dispatch System is specifically designed to provide the taxi companies with an automatic and rapid solution for notifying the operators and drivers of the nearest vehicle. System automatically finds the nearest taxi to the customer location and sends the job to taxi over GPRS. Customer’s coordinates are automatically fed into the navigation system and turn by turn driver directions are generated and driver can easily access driving directions via LCD Screen within the vehicle. The system also records and reports starting and ending times of the jobs, total distance traveled along with the work registration number.

The system is used to monitor drivers and ensures safe driving. Specific speed limits can be defined and configured for highways/motorways/autobahns,

inner-city and suburban road limits. Whenever the drivers violate the speed limits they are warned with an audio alarm. The system triggers notifications when drivers who lack necessary training and certifications operate specific vehicles and/or when vehicles are driven outside permitted regions and times. Detailed driver based reports, driving violations, daily vehicle and control charts are generated and sent through the automatic e-mail service.
