Q12 A BSN degree requires an additional 30 nursing credits (10 three credit classes) beyond the ADN or diploma program plus a

variety of general education courses.

Students with a prior baccalaureate degree may have all the required general education classes completed. Others may

require a mix of nursing and general education courses. A 3 credit course requires 45 hours of class time (either on-

line or classroom setting). This does not include study or preparation time. In considering a curriculum schedule using just the 10 nursing courses as an example,

would you prefer:

1 i am a full time employee with kids and grandkids. maybe i'm asking too much but flexablility is the key. if it takes me three years thats fine. i just would like to get my bsn for my own personnel reasons.

4/17/2014 11:01 AM

2 Online 4/12/2014 9:50 PM

3 regardless of timetable, making sure that the credit assigned to the course is appropriate is key. 4/11/2014 12:50 AM 4 No preference would prefer faster than slower finish time however cost is an issue. 4/10/2014 1:04 PM 5 I don't know that I would be able to do more than 2 courses a semester with working full time and

family.

4/10/2014 12:20 PM

6 Cost/ability to pay for the course/books/materials also plays a big part in the continuing education plan. At approx $1255 per course...and needed 10 courses...good heavens, I don't have an extra

$12,550.

4/9/2014 12:15 AM

7 I maintained a full time status with Bellin while in my ADN program and did well. I feel the quicker the better.

4/8/2014 4:45 PM

8 Either the 15 or 24 months course. 4/8/2014 12:01 PM

9 May consider trying to do every five weeks if able to get help with child care during the week 4/8/2014 11:33 AM Three courses a semester - 15 weeks (9 hours of class time per week and would take approximately 18 months to complete

the nursing courses)

1 cost will there be financial assistance available? 4/18/2014 7:13 AM

2 I would like a quality education but still have a life. Family is first but advancement and growth falls high on the priority also. Again flexablity is the key.

4/17/2014 11:01 AM

3 Would be nice if there was some time of loan forgiveness set up for employees as long as they agree to stay employed for a certain length of time

4/16/2014 10:37 AM

4 cost and time invested is a concern 4/15/2014 4:30 PM

5 Cost 4/15/2014 8:47 AM

6 Would this be affordable to working parents? Would the tuition reimbursement change? Most working people with families cannot afford Bellin College, including Bellin Employees.

4/14/2014 4:53 PM

7 cost, financial assistance 4/14/2014 3:23 PM

8 I do not want to get into any more financial debt to take advance my degree. This is the reason why I have not pursed a BSN

9 Cost 4/12/2014 9:52 AM

10 ADN to Masters program? 4/12/2014 8:33 AM

11 Preference about group projects. I personally feel they don't belong in this setting, as we have already attained a degree requiring that. It is very difficult to navigate group projects when you have to work/go to school.

4/11/2014 12:50 AM

12 Cost? 4/10/2014 4:36 PM

13 Cost? 4/10/2014 1:04 PM

4/10/2014 12:20 PM

15 Cost 4/10/2014 7:32 AM

16 How much finiancial assistance would be offfered. Are you still offering 2 track regular and teaching

4/10/2014 6:01 AM

17 main concern would be cost. if cost is comparable to other BSN programs and also flexibility for scheduling work schedule around classes or classes around work.

4/9/2014 4:08 PM

18 Cost? Tuition reimbursement available? 4/9/2014 3:55 PM

19 substancial reemberstment or increase in pay 4/9/2014 11:02 AM

20 Cost would be a huge factor. My son is at UW - Madison, pursuing a degree in Medicine. He is not sure what area yet. But has potentially another 10-12 years of school.

4/9/2014 10:44 AM

21 I would be interested! 4/9/2014 9:25 AM

22 COST!!! Bellin College is SO expensive! I cannot afford to go to Bellin vs the UW system 4/9/2014 7:47 AM

(20)

23 I am quite satisfied with my current status and education. I enroll myself in many continuing education courses on-line and in Healthstream. I have many years of nursing experience both nationally and internationally. I understand the reason for this BSN push, but with my experience and length of time of being a nurse I feel is much more valuable to my patients than having to take classes on Theoretical Foundations (4 credits);Nursing Research (3 credits); Management and Leadership (4 credits); Community Health Nursing Theory (3 credits); Community Health Nursing Practicum (3 credits); Synthesis for Nursing Practice (3 credits); Special topic in Nursing Elective (3 credits) x2. The Health assessment course would be valuable. Some of these courses are good but others are just good money makers for the colleges. Can a seasoned nurse get "field

experience" credits?

4/9/2014 12:15 AM

24 Would Bellin help pay or reimburse employees for continuing education? Would there be a pay increase for those nurses who obtain a BSN? Would Bellin help to accomodate RN's work schedule around class time if it is not an online program?

4/8/2014 4:56 PM

25 Approximate cost? Tuition assistance available? Rewards/reimbursement for grades of A or B? Pay increase for BSN? Earnings 'cap' higher for BSN? More potential offerings or job opportunities for BSN? Possible wage deduction for tuition?

4/8/2014 4:45 PM

26 Cost is a big factor since I still have student loans from ADN program 4/8/2014 4:35 PM 27 Cost is what has kept me from pursuing my BSN. I need something affordable. 4/8/2014 4:09 PM 28 There has to be a way to factor in previous nursing school work (diploma) and years of work

experience (27 plus years of nursing) than taking classes again.

4/8/2014 4:06 PM

29 cost of private college 4/8/2014 3:55 PM

30 I am concerned about the cost. That is the main reason I do not have my BSN. 4/8/2014 2:45 PM

31 the cost of the program and reimbursement 4/8/2014 1:17 PM

32 Will there be any life or work experience credits? I currently work 40+ hours a week and need to manage work, family and school and would like a program that truly takes all of that into

consideration and makes schooling manageable. Will there need to be clinical time? Cost??? Any reduced cost to current Bellin employees who would participate? Any consideration of reduced rate for first students to participate and provide feedback for the program?

4/8/2014 1:01 PM

33 N/A 4/8/2014 12:51 PM

34 My only concern is the cost!! 4/8/2014 12:39 PM

35 Am thinking about going my BSN, but would be nice to have an incentive for going back (we do not get a pay difference, or much of a class reimbursement)

4/8/2014 12:01 PM

36 Cost/benefit ratio 4/8/2014 11:57 AM

37 I am extremely concerned about the cost. I just paid off my loan for my previous Bachelors degree.

I'm trying to be open minded. But when ever I think of all the debt I'm going to accumulate again I freeze up. We still have 2 sets of braces in this house coming up. I also need this program to be flexible and geared for a non traditional student. I work full time, have 2 kids and all the mom responsibilities that go with that.

4/8/2014 11:42 AM

38 Cost is always an issue. 4/8/2014 10:57 AM

39 Cost per credit/course and total cost. Time for classes can be found but not if cost prohibitive. 4/8/2014 10:55 AM 40 i would need a credit eval, but think i probably only have a few classes that i need, was in the

original adn to uwgb for bsn group. about 1984.if all is still good.

4/8/2014 10:43 AM

41 COST!!!!! 4/8/2014 10:40 AM

42 What is the cost? 4/8/2014 10:29 AM

43 time with work schedule 4/8/2014 10:14 AM

44 The price would have to be right. I do not want to a lot more in debt and not benefit financially after it is completed.
