The business partner master contains all the basic information on a business partner including address, contact person, delivery address, accounts, opportunities or projects.
Efficient data management

From the outset, the automated project definition of ProjectManagement ensures a systematic approach in defining new projects. To save time you can use project templates or previous projects. Once the project is created, all costs and revenues are assigned correctly to the appropriate accounts and the project data is included in the analyses.
Hierarchical project phases
When you create the project, you possibly want to define also project phases. Project-Management supports a hierarchical struc-ture in multiple phases.
Document management
The project master has a folder for project-related documents like presentations, calcula-tions, specifications or e-mails that allows you to check-in or check-out documents for further treatment.
ELO, the document management solution for electronic archiving, provides more com-prehensive options. ELO integrates via an interface with SAP Business One.
Planning versions
When planning a project, you can try out different planning versions and store these versions in the system.
Contracts in ProjectManagement
An integral part of the project is the project contract. The project contract includes the products, services and travel costs agreed with the customer.
Accounting types
ProjectManagement supports various types of contract, e.g. fixed price contract, service at cost contract, maintenance contract and call-off contract. The solution supports also phase or milestone billing, down payments, final account, periodic accounting etc.
Integrated quotation creation
ProjectManagement supports the internal cooperation when preparing a sales quota-tion. The sales employee, for example, defines in the contract the services and items to be performed and the colleagues from the special department add the duration of the services in the project planning. The planning data for the services, items or travel expenses are included automatically as sales prices in the calculation.
Profitability analysis
The calculation function assists you in quickly determining whether a project can be carried out economically. Because ProjectManage-ment calculates and visualizes the actual and percentage revenue for the contract posi-tions.

Sales quotation document
When the calculation is completed, Project-Management generates a sales quotation in the corporate design of your business. You can print the document directly from ProjectManagement and send it together with all attachments by post or e-mail to the customer.
Cost controlling
You can check at any time whether the contractually agreed costs for the project are in line with the budget. The solution allows even to prevent further time sheet entries for a project if the costs are already exceeded.
ProjectManagement supports the entire sales quotation process including planning, calculation and document generation.

Employee or resource pool planning
You can plan employees or resource pools and see directly whether the planned re-sources are available at the requested time and to what extent they are used.
After the sales order has been placed, you can assign the services planned on resource pools by drag and drop to individual employees.

Employee skills that are defined in the em-ployee master assist you in the planning.
Employee calendar
Different calendars are considered in the planning, e.g. for part-time staff, regular employees and freelancers. The solution considers also holidays and vacation in the planning.
Planning changes at current project
If necessary, you can make changes at the current project, e.g. in case of sick leave or date changes on the part of the customer. You can modify planning data, move dates or split planning dates. The data is updated automatically on each level (time, costs, resources and analyses).

Planning data from Microsoft Project can be simply imported and further handled in ProjectManagement.
Interfaces to Microsoft Outlook
When planning is completed, you can auto-matically inform the employees via Outlook of the planned dates, project phases and tasks.

Final account
If down payments are agreed in the project contract, a final account is created. If the cus-tomer has already made one or more down payments, these down payments reduce the total value of the final account automatically.

Integrated Support Desk
Flexible tool
After completion of the project, the customer relationship does usually not end because software solutions, for example, must be ser-viced regularly. With the web-based support desk, ProjectManagement includes an easy to use tool for the management of support requests or so-called support tickets.
Ticket handling
From the outset, the customers are involved in the ticket handling because they record the support tickets via Internet in the support desk. The project manager is informed auto-matically by e-mail of a new ticket and can thus react quickly or forward the ticket to a colleague. During the processing, all involved parties have always an overview of the cur-rent handling status.

Recording and billing handling times
