Detect what you otherwise would have missed.
A safe place...
It’s what we want when we travel. Go to work or school. Shop. Worship. And live.
In public places, we rely on high tech surveillance systems to keep us out of harm’s way. But some are invasive, and others, time consuming. Yet, it’s the price we pay for peace of mind. Until now.
Now there’s a surveillance system that can spot the bad guys in a crowd without invading privacy or taking up excess time. The system detects items concealed under clothing that block a person’s natural body heat in real time. No standing in line, no waiting your turn and no privacy concerns. The system scans multiple people simultaneously often without their knowledge and detects threats from standoff distances such as explosives, guns, liquids, powders and gels. It also detects items such as contraband, drugs, currency and stolen objects.
For decades, Thermal Matrix has been a leader in concealed object detection.
Government agencies, law enforcement and on-site security forces have embraced our Multi-Spectral Surveillance System. And the U.S. military has chosen Thermal Matrix to protect troops in Iraq and Afghanistan from suicide bombers.
Thermal Matrix
Features
Automated Video Surveillance
Thermal Matrix’s new Multi-Spectral Surveillance System provides multi-camera/multi-view imaging for concealed objects and day/night surveillance. Our dual camera model provides remote imaging using visible and infrared sensors allowing unparalleled monitoring of entrances, exits and checkpoints of secure areas. The system provides real time warning of person-borne concealed threats from safe distances, detecting threats metal detectors cannot, such as IEDs, plastic explosives, and hazardous liquids, powders and gels. The system includes dual sets paired IR and CCTV imagers, DVR features, image stabilization, motion detection, digital zoom and a wide spectrum of features. Advanced motion detection allows selected video feeds to blank during no motion, simplifying the task of security personnel.
Thermal Matrix can detect items missed by metal detectors such as plastic explosives, composite guns, powders, liquids and gels.
Concealed Object Detection
TM’s dual camera model is ideal for detection of concealed objects such as contraband, currency and stolen items. It can detect threats from safe distances discretely without cooperation or lines. The system detects smuggled liquor and contraband entering stadiums and cruise ship/airline gates, stolen items from exiting warehouses, or threats, drugs and currency approaching border crossings. The dual camera model is ideal for checkpoint surveillance, viewing both the front and back of subjects simultaneously and is upgradable as your requirements change. For wide entryways, the dual cameras can extend the field of view of the system, covering twice the width a single camera allows.
Field-Proven Experience
Fixed/Permanent Deployment
Thermal Matrix’s Fixed/Permanent Deployment version allows the system to be securely mounted in a fixed covert or overt location. Based on a high-end tower PC computer, the command and control displays are typically located in a central security office. The cameras are typically located near entrances or places of interest and connected via fiber optics. Additional monitors can be included to mirror the central command/control console near the surveillance point(s) to streamline communications with security personnel on location.
Additionally, the command/control display can be wirelessly beamed to a smartphone or tablet device for handheld operation. This offers a remote operator full view of the Multi-Spectral display in real time without a tethered connection.
Mobile/Rapid Deployment
Thermal Matrix’s Mobile/Rapid Deployment version allows the system to be easily moved between locations. Housed in a rugged rolling equipment case and one man portable unit, it includes one or two camera enclosures, tripod(s), ToughBook laptop computer with TM software preinstalled and IP router connecting the computer to the infrared and visible sensors. Deployment is simple- mount the camera enclosures to the tripods, connect them to the IP router/computer and connect to a 100-230VAC power source. For field use, TM can supply an optional battery pack to power the unit away from infrastructure.
The Mobile/Rapid Deployment version is ideal for protecting sporting events, concerts, large or small gatherings and providing protection and surveillance for state visits and VIPs. The
system’s versatility and flexibility make it Thermal Matrix’s best selling configuration for law enforcement and military applications.
Thermal Matrix also provides custom cable lengths for connecting the equipment including 50 meter CAT-6 and 300+ meter fiber optic lengths provided on convenient cable reels.
