These duties include, but are not limited to: assisting medial technologist with processing, and testing to patient specimens, registering patients, processing orders and paperwork, distributing reports,
answering phones, taking messages, and performing phlebotomies on all ages of patients. Also under supervisor of the Lab Supervisor, operate radiology equipment to perform diagnostic examinations to aid physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of their patients.

examination requisition to requisition. Verbally address the patient personally to verify their identity.

Provide and ensure proper use of radiation protection by all hospital personnel, patients, and self in accordance with hospital and governmental safety
standards.

Process films according to processing criteria determined by procedures and materials used in performing the examination. Prepare them for reading by radiologist.

Possess the ability to learn and perform various examinations within the radiology department.

Reviews exposed radiographs for proper positioning, technique, and identification. Adjust technical factors in proportions to patient and body part being examined while minimizing radiation.

Performs and/or assists with images taken in other areas of the hospital with portable radiology equipment.

Education/Experience Requirements:

High school diploma/GED and ability to train on the job.•
Prefer previous experience in healthcare and/or graduate of accredited program in radiologic and medical technology.•
Ability to work cooperatively with physicians, patients, and other departments. Skills:•
