PRODUCT DATA SHEET

The Honeywell Input / Output module gives you the option to connect wired products. It will help to connect existing products to the Honeywell RF world.

No need to change over all your products at once.

APPLICATION

The Input / Output module is a device to transform RF signals to a wired output signal or transform digital inputs signals to RF. The output of the platform is a 0-10 VDC signal, normally used to control a ventilation box. You can bind e.g. a wireless sensor to this product which converts the wireless sensor information into a 0-10 VDC wired signal.

On the input you can connect e.g. an existing wired product in your program. Then this signal (open or close) will be transformed in a wireless Honeywell RF signal.

Description

- The three colour (red/green/orange) LED can be used to indicate the current value of the sensor.

- 5 indication LED’s indicates current mode of sensor. The function of the 5 LED’s can be defined by customer. - During installation the capacitive button is used to bind the

RF with another device.

- For the end-user it can be used to set the current ventilation operation.

See chapter “Typical Application” for an example of LED’s configuration.

OVERVIEW BACK

Description

- Mounting holes. The mounting holes are used to screw the sensor module on the wall or onto a flush mounted box. - 230 VAC bottom entry for separate cable. In case you want

to mount a 230 VAC cable with plug to the sensor box then this break-out entrance must be used. Inside the casing there is strain relief for this cable.

- I /O bottom entry for separate cable. In case you want to mount a cable to the box then this break-out entrance must be used.

- 230 VAC and I/O in for flush mount. This entrance will be used if you screw the sensor module on a flush mounted box. It fits most European flush mounted wall boxes (except UK and Italy)

CUSTOMIZABLE OPTIONS

For a customer there are several options to customize. The greater deviation from the platform defaults the greater the investment costs and impact on product pricing.

Casing: - Color - Printing on casing - Front design - Back design Software

- In principle most software functionality can be defined by customer e.g. LED functionality, capacitive button functionality.

TYPICAL APPLICATION

As control for an MEV / MHVR box.

- The Input / Output module will be connected to the 0-10 VDC input of the MEV / MHVR. And on the RF side you can bind wireless products e.g. a CO2 sensor.

- The CO2 sensor measures the CO2 level in the room.

- Based on the CO2 level the CO2 sensor sends out a signal via RF to the Input / Output module.

- The Input / Output module converts this CO2 level in a voltage between the 0 and 10 VDC depending on the CO2 level. The MEV / MHVR uses this 0-10 VDC signal to speed up or down the fans.

- A digital input could be used to indicate an error coming from the MEV / MHVR. The output error of the MEV / MHVR control PCB can be connected to the input of this module. And a signal can be sent to all RF products connected to indicate error by an LED.

- Capacitive button will be used to bind RF. - LED’s can indicate a certain state. As an input module for wired sensor or switch.

- A wired potential free sensor or switch will be connected to the input of this module.

- This module will recognize if the input is closed or open. - The module will sent a RF signal that the contact is closed or
