Signing into the Learning Management System (LMS)

 Open your Internet browser and navigate to https://lms.e2train.com/evershedsclients

 Enter your ‘Username’ and ‘Password’ into the relevant fields and select the ‘Sign In’ button

Note: Details of your username will be provided in the welcome email you receive about the

course you’re required to take

 This will display the main learning screen where you can access the E-Learning courses that have been assigned to you (as detailed under the ‘launching your training’ section of this guide)

Note: If you have forgotten your password, you can obtain a new one by clicking on the

‘Forgotten Password?’ link on the sign in screen. Follow the ‘forgotten your password’ section of this guide for any additional help with this.

4  The screen will refresh, asking you to provide your ‘Username’ in the appropriate field and

then select the ‘Submit’ button

5  Refer to your mailbox for an email from ‘[email protected]’ with a subject of

‘Eversheds E-Learning Forgotten Password’

 Copy the randomly generated password from this email and return to the sign in screen  Enter your ‘Username’ and randomly generated password into the ‘Password’ field and

select the ‘Sign In’ button

 The screen will refresh asking you to provide a new password. Populate the ‘Password’ field with the randomly generated password from your email and then both the ‘New Password’ and ‘Confirm New Password’ fields with a new password of your choice

 Confirmation text will appear stating that your password has been changed. Select the ‘Continue’ button to complete your log in to the LMS

Amending your personal details and changing your password

 All users have the ability to change their own password. To do this follow the steps under ‘signing into the LMS’

6  The screen will refresh, displaying a snapshot of key system information held about you.

Select the ‘edit my personal details and change the password’ link

 A second screen will display, allowing you to edit your first name, last name and email address if required.

Note: If these details are incorrect, it is strongly recommended that you inform your local administrator to prevent any future data updates overwriting the

7  Select the ‘Change’ button

 The screen will refresh and provide you with three fields to populate. Enter your current password in the ‘Password’ field and your new password in both the ‘New Password’ and ‘Confirm New Password’ fields. Once complete, select the ‘Change’ button

8  You will be returned to the previous screen where you’ll just need to select the ‘Return’

button to close this second screen

 Select the ‘Learning’ button from the grey menu bar

Signing out of the LMS

 When you have finished using the LMS simply select the ‘Sign out’ link from the black menu bar

User functionality

The section provides you with an overview of the user functionality including page navigation and instructions on how to access training.

Navigating around the LMS as a user

The screen shot below shows the main functionality of a user:

1 The LMS’s welcome message

2 Options to view our support pages, amend your password and sign out of the LMS

3 Course list option buttons allowing you to expand and collapse the list as well as print

4 Course information including status information and a link to launch the course

Finding more information out about your training

Some courses you are required to take will have additional information about them to help you understand a little more about the course.

 To view any potential information about your courses, follow the steps under ‘signing into the LMS’

 The screen will refresh and display the training you are required to take

 Locate the course from your list and select one of the small ‘i’ icons found towards the right hand side of the screen

10  This will launch a second screen

 Once you have finishing viewing the additional information, simply select the ‘Close’ button to return to the main LMS screen

Note: Some courses may not have any additional information, and as a result will just provide you with the course code.

Launching your training

 Follow the steps under ‘signing into the LMS’

 The screen will refresh and display the training you are required to take

 Locate the course you wish to complete and select either the course title or the green arrow button
