What drives

us forward

Growth in broadcasters‘ business

The number of broadcast TV channels is growing rapidly worldwide. This results in strong demand for satellite transmission capacity. As the leading TV distribution platform via satellite with our global coverage, we are well positioned to support this growth and to help accelerate the development and deployment of HD and Ultra HD TV programmes.

Need to develop satellite ecosystem The satellite industry is technology-driven, thus fostering a consensus on the standards of reception technology is of the utmost importance to drive business growth. SES plays a leading role in aligning the industry and facilitating the development of the satellite ecosystem.

Boom in telco industry and upsurge in mobility services

There is an increasing need for companies to monitor their equipment, receive real-time field data and keep their off-site teams connected constantly. This growing need for telephone, video-conferencing and internet access service has resulted in a strong bandwidth demand. Our global fleet means we are well-equipped to provide these data services.

Rising demand for customised solutions

Our customers have a growing hunger for customised and additional services as they want to transmit their services efficiently, securely, and in the highest quality. We assist them by offering technical satellite consultancy support, IP platform services and two-way broadband services.

Increase in government services

We enable an increasing number of governments and international institutions worldwide to provide communication services. As a global commercial satellite operator, we are able to act quickly and provide services with greater flexibility for government programmes.
