Itinerary:

Day 1-2: 23-24 Mar 15 Cairns  Brisbane  Singapore  Siem Reap Monday

Today you will fly with Singapore Airlines from Cairns to Siem Reap;

Arrival in Siem Reap the following day; your guide will meet you at the airport and transfer to your hotel.

Day 3: 25 Mar 15 Siem Reap Meal: B/L/D

Today you will visit the Banteay Srei temple, this impressing temple is located 35 km away from Siem Reap and is a beautiful ride through the flat countryside.

This afternoon visit to Angkor Wat with sunset over Bakheng Hill. Enjoy your dinner with traditional dance show at city restaurant. Overnight at Siem Reap

Day 4: 26 Mar 15 Siem Reap Meal: B/L/D

Morning take elephant ride from South Gate in Angkor Park to Bayon Temple and visit Bayon Temple, Elephant Terrace Temple. Lunch at city restaurant.

Afternoon at leisure, possibly do some shopping or enjoy a swim by the pool

Dinner served at Nest Café Bar Restaurant in the city centre. Overnight in Siem Reap

Day 5: 27 Mar 15 Siem Reap  Hanoi Meal: B/L/D

This morning´s excursion is by boat to visit the fishing and floating village along Tonle Sap Lake. Lunch is served at your hotel. Then you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Hanoi. Met and transferred to hotel for 2 nights.

Day 6: 28 Mar 15 Hanoi Meal: B/L/WD

Today you will take city highlights tour of Hanoi, which includes the West Lake, Lake Hoan Kiem, Temple of Literature, Ho Chi Minh’s Former Residence, the One-Pillared Pagoda and Ethnology Museum. You also enjoy a Cyclo tour (1 hour) to the old quarters of Hanoi and visit the local markets. Transfer back to hotel; western dinner served at hotel.

Day 7: 29 Mar 15 Hanoi - Ha Long Bay Meal: B/L/D

This morning is at leisure.

This afternoon you will drive to Ha Long Bay (170km, about 3 hours drive), with a stop-over at the ceramic and hand embroidery workshops en route. Overnight in Ha Long Bay for 2 nights.

Day 8: 30 Mar 15 Halong Bay Meal: B/L

Take morning city tour in Ha Long Bay, the charming small town. At noon, you will board your private boat for a cruise along Halong Bay (5 hours), a world heritage site recognized by UNESCO in 1994. Visit some magical grottoes and relax in the best scenic beauty of Vietnam. A Seafood Lunch is served on board.

Free time for local market and sample the local food by yourself

Day 9: 31 Mar 15 Halong Bay - Hanoi – Hoi An Meal: B/L/BD

This morning is at leisure, where you can explore more of the city at your own pace. This afternoon a transfer direct to Hanoi Noi Bai Airport for your flight to Danang, then transferred to Hoi An, the very beautiful charming small town in the middle of Vietnam.

Day 10: 01 Apr 15 Hoi An Meal: B/L/D

This morning is at leisure. This afternoon your guide will take you to the Ancient Town for lunch and a city tour. Hoi An, so called a ‘living Museum City’ because of its well-kept original historical buildings and ancient backstreets. Visit one of the three city’s oldest homes, each built over 200 years ago and still occupied by descendants of the families that originally built them; then tour to the Chinese Assembly Hall followed by a traditional Hoi An Church and the unique Japanese Bridge. Afternoon you are transferred to the Ruins of My Son to see Cham Holy See.

Day 11: 02 Apr 15 Hue day excursion Meal: B/L/D

Today you will take an excursion to Hue, which is highlighted with a visit to the Dong Ba Market, famous for its best conical hats in Vietnam, Thien Mu Pagoda and the Imperial Citadel, built in 1804 on a site chosen in accordance with geomancy. A performance of ancient dancing and court music, a world intangible heritage recognised by UNESCO in 2003, is presented in the citadel. This afternoon, the tour focuses on the tombs of King Tu Duc (ruled 1848 – 1883) and King Khai Dinh (ruled 1916 – 1925). The monuments, designed by the kings themselves, were also used as holiday retreats during their lifetime. Return back to Hoi An in late afternoon. Overnight in Hoi An

Day 12: 03 Apr 15 Hoi An – Cooking class Meal: B/WD

This morning, you will attend a cooking class. First of all, the chef assistant will show you to a local market where you could learn about the variety of oriental vegetables, herbs, meats, fishes etc, then the chef will demonstrate how to cook some typical Vietnamese food, so that you could show off to your friends when you return. This afternoon is at leisure to explore more of Hoi An at your own pace, possibly to do shopping, get some tailor-made clothes or enjoy a rest on the beach. Western dinner served at your hotel.

Day 13: 04 Apr 15 Hoi An - Danang – Ho Chi Minh City Meal: B/L/D

Before leaving for Danang Airport, stop by the stone-carving village of Non Nuoc where a wide variety of articles is sculptured from marble and sandstone. Fly to Saigon. Pick up and transfer to your hotel.

Day 14: 05 Apr 15 Ho Chi Minh City Meal: B/L/WD

A morning tour round Ho Chi Minh City, formerly called Saigon, featuring the History Museum, the Binh Tay Market in Chinatown, Thien Hau Temple and a lacquer workshop. This afternoon, head out to Cu Chi, 70km north of Saigon, famous for its 200-kilometre-long tunnels. A western dinner served at Cordon Blue Restaurant.

Day 15: 06 Apr 15 Excursion to Mekong Delta Meal: B/L/WD

Enjoy a full-day excursion to My Tho, 75km south of Saigon, a peaceful town along the bank of the Mekong River. The tour comprises of a cruise on the Mekong River, a visit to the orchards and local homes, a sampan ride along palm-shaded creeks, a taste of seasonal fruit & honey tea and a performance of traditional southern singing. Lunch is a mix of Mekong specialties which is arranged. A Western dinner served at your hotel.

Day 16: 07 Apr 15 Ho Chi Minh City  Singapore  Brisbane  Cairns Meal: B

Today is at leisure to explore this city at your own pace or do some shopping. Late checkout till 6pm then you are transferred to the airport for your Singapore Airlines flight bound for Cairns
