TES-timonial: Dave Keiter, Yellow Van Cleaning Services
Just want to thank you and your staff for the excellent training in December
(From the Reets Drying Academy).
After returning home December 12th we (my company) have been busy with jobs from
frozen pipes.
Using the TES and the E-TES, we dried a 5000 sq ft restaurant, a two story home, an
8,000 sq ft orthopedic clinic and a 4000 sq ft church dry on Christmas eve so they could
hold their service.
Over $56,000 in revenue before Christmas and that is just the Drying revenue.
Thank you for taking the time to help us grow our business. I am a believer in putting
heat to the water. There is no way we could have contracted projects this size with the
process that we used to use. I am grateful for all you have given.

Reets Drying Academy
Students from the Carolyn
Barron Montessori School
took a field trip to the flood
house at Reets Drying
Academy.
Jeremy Reets led the children in a discussion on drying and
evaporation. When asked how to clean up a spill one young girl
said, "I would use a hair dryer." Little did she know just how
right she was. Jeremy explained how Champion (Jeremy's
family's restoration business in Sharpsburg, GA) uses similar
technology to dry up large spills. The students were allowed to
flood our flood house which is used for water damage training.
Students enjoyed a hands on lesson and left with a new approach
on evaporation.
Technical Bulletin: Thermal Energy Fluid - Part 3 of 3
Does my TES Thermal Energy Fluid ever need to be replaced?
It is recommended that the fluid be replaced biannually or after 2400 hours of operation. The Thermal
breakdown of the propylene glycol and corrosion inhibitors in the solution over time may reduce the
protection ability of the TES Thermal Energy Fluid. Overheating may accelerate the breakdown and the
fluid may require more frequent replacement.
The TES Thermal Energy Fluid should be tested periodically to determine the current concentration and
level of protection. Two tests should be performed to evaluate the fluid. The first test will be to check the
concentration and protection level of the fluid the second test will be to check the pH of the fluid.
To test the TES Thermal Energy Fluid, take a small fluid sample from the bottom of the old style
Spiro-trap or new style by-pass filter. It could also be drained from a quick connect on the TES unit. A
sample taken from the reservoir may not accurately reflect the condition of the majority of the fluid in the
system. The amount of fluid needed will depend on the size and type of testers used.
A refractometer may only require a few drops. A propylene glycol tester or ph Tester may require a few ounces.
If the fluid is dirty it should be filtered before testing.
Propylene glycol coolant testers, which can be purcahsed at many auto parts stores and tool distributors, are less expensive,
but refractometers are much more accurate. While pH Testers cost more than pH test tape, we recommend that you use the
more accurate pH Tester to check the pH of the TES Thermal Energy Fluid.
Replace the TES Thermal Fluid if the freezing point has risen significantly above thirty degrees below zero Fahrenheit
(-30°F) or if the ph level is over 10.0 or below 7.5.
