Welcome

Welcome

Welcome to the 21

st

annual meeting of the Egyptian Society of Cataract and

Refractive Surgery. The mission of the society, since its foundation in 1990

is to propagate knowledge concerning cataract surgery, corneal diseases

and surgery as well as refractive surgery among ophthalmologists

interested in this particular field. The aim is to upgrade the standard of care

provided to patients. The annual scientific meeting is an opportunity for

experts to gather, share experience and exchange information.

A number of distinguished speakers will present their work in order to keep

us informed and updated.

I would like to express my gratitude to all speakers, audience and the

organizing committee. It is the combined efforts of them all that makes

such a day fruitful and enjoyable.
