Announcing the fourth year for the National Retail Federation “Dream BIG” Scholarship Program
The National Retail Federation is collaborating with University of Phoenix® to offer the Dream BIG Scholarship Program for a fourth year, awarding 20 full-tuition scholarships to retail workers who want to enhance their careers through higher education.

Twenty retail employees will receive full-tuition scholarships Dream BIG scholarships are for employees who want to advance their retail career through higher education. This could mean undertaking a retail-related undergraduate program such as business, finance, security and management, or even a master’s degree program with University of Phoenix.
Success in retail is the ultimate goal
The Dream BIG Scholarship Program was created to provide retail workers with the opportunity to further their education and advance their retail career with a full-tuition scholarship, and to highlight the rewarding and diverse career opportunities that are available within the retail industry.
The stories shared by retail workers for Dream BIG in 2015 showed that retail is more than just a job - it is a fulfilling, challenging career path for those who work hard and want to achieve great things. In 2015, hundreds of retail workers from more than 75 companies across the U.S. applied for the Dream BIG Scholarship, and 20 scholarships were awarded.
A Scholarship Selection Committee will choose the most qualified candidates
A review committee will narrow the applications to the top 40 – 50 candidates. These candidates will be reviewed by the Dream BIG Executive Judging Committee comprised of retail executives, representatives from NRF, and University of Phoenix.

To apply for Dream BIG, applicants need to complete three short essay questions, and submit a resume as well as a letter of recommendation from someone who knows them well and also works in the retail industry.
