This document provides indications on the possible ways to reach Bergamo central station
from any one of the three main airports in the Milano area. Consider in particular that:
• Malpensa is located in the far West area of Milan
• Linate is very close to the City
• Orio Al Serio is actually on the far East of Milan and very close to Bergamo
MILAN MALPENSA AIRPORT-BERGAMO
A) At the arrival
The fastest way to reach Bergamo from Malpensa is:
Taking a train (Malpensa-express) from the Airport to Cadorna Railway Station
(Milan), then by suburban train from Cadorna Railway Station to Central Railway
Station (Milan), then by train from Milan’s Central Railway Station to Bergamo
Railway Station.

In Cadorna Railway Station, take the suburban train to get to Milan Railway
Station, where you can take the train to get to Bergamo (please check the
timetable).

Buses stopping at Milano Lambrate, DO NOT STOP at Cascina Gobba.
From Bergamo Orio al Serio airport to Milano Central Station: only the buses NOT STOPPING at Milano Lambrate, will STOP at Cascina Gobba but ONLY if requested before departure.
From Milano Central Station, only the buses NOT stopping at Milano Lambrate, will stop at Cascina Gobba 10 minutes after the departure.

check section “Milan Orio al Serio-Bergamo” below).
B) At the departure:
From Bergamo to Malpensa Airport:
Take a train from Bergamo Railway Station to Central Railway Station in Milan,
then by suburban train from Central Railway Station in Milan to Cadorna
Railway Station, finally go by Train from Cadorna Railway Station to Malpensa
Airport (Malpensa-express).
Elsewhere, from Railway Central Station in Milan or Lambrate Railway Station
in Milan you can take a bus to Malpensa Airport.

Travelling by bus is often slower for the queues on the highways around Milan.
So we suggest you, if you are going by bus, to leave at least a hour in advance to
get to the airport. Anyway, here is the timetable of the bus from Milan Central
