AERIE PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Salutation Brothers,

Spring is almost here and the weather is starting to warm up. Almost time to start saving daylight. March will be a very busy month. We start with: - Eastern Zone Conference Mar 6-7

- Pub Crawl Mar 14

- 40TH Anniversary Mar 23 (with a visit from the Grand Worthy President

- State Pool Tournament Mar 27-29 North Platte I again want to thank all the officers, trustees, auxiliary members, and the volunteers who make all this possible. Without your help, it would not happen.

Still a concerning issue is the vacant officer and trustee positions. These positions are very important to us because we are trying to do everything with less people. Nominations for next year's officers and trustees will be coming up soon.

Larry Owens, Aerie President

AUXILIARY PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Sisters,

As I sit down to write March's newsletter, I am so surprised how much of my year as the President is soon going to be done!

Sisters, our meetings in March are the Tuesday, Mar 3rd and Tuesday, March 24, (due to St Patrick's Day); at 7:30pm.

We will be having a pub crawl March 14; on March 23rd, we will have our 40th Anniversary. Can you believe Bellevue Eagles have been here that long!! Sisters! If you're interested in being an officer, please let Sharon Jarvis know!!

Thanks for all you do helping us be better!

Barb Romero, Madam President

MARCH "MADNESS" IS BEGINNING AT THE AERIE

There are many events during this busy, fun month!!

We are in desperate need of volunteers.

There are a lot of events coming up that we

need help with--in the kitchen, set up and tear down, checking ID's and bar backs for the Pub

Crawl. Just to name one event. On St Patty's Day we will be needing help in the kitchen throughout

the day. We have our 40th Anniversary Party and hopefully a few outdoor events. Sign up at the

club; for the Pub Crawl, there is also sign-up sheet attached.

You can also volunteer by calling 402-292-6950 and leaving a message on ext 2. Or just come

down and visit and we can help you sign up. It is a great way to make new friends and we always

have a great time while helping out.

Remember a club made of volunteers needs volunteers to make it work

Thank you

Ron Malz, Grand Worthy President of The Fraternal Order of Eagles, is a longtime member of the organization, joining Fairbault, Minn., Aerie #1460 in 1982. In 1988, Brother Malz was named Worthy President of the Aerie, igniting a path that has led him to Grand Aerie service.

He later held the Minnesota State President position for the 1999-2000 fraternal year and was appointed North Central Regional President for the 2006-2007 fraternal year.

Brother Malz joined the Grand Aerie four years later, being installed as Grand Worthy Outside Guard at the 2010 International Convention in Louisville, Ky., continuing as Grand Worthy Conductor, Grand Worthy Chaplain, Grand Trustee, Grand Worthy Vice President and is currently serving as Grand Worthy President-Elect for the 2018-19 fraternal year.
