THE MOST IMPORTANT NEWS
a) In addition to the Tournament of the Roses there will be the Young lords tournament, where Krumlov youth aged from 12 to 15 years will fight in the competition. Krumlov Youth
Organization helps to organize the competition. Petr Vok from Rosenberg and the delegates of the school parliaments drew the various roses out of the hat on 22nd April 2005.
b) The main historical procession will pass through the town on Saturday at 14.00 (before it was at 10.00), because it will start the Tournament of the Roses in the ring in Brewery Gardens
c) Fireworks will set off at 24.00. The composition of three parts called Honour to the Lords of the Rose has been composed for this occasion by the Krumlov musician Otakar Votýpka (the group of Black Bottom´s bandmaster)
d) Brewery Gardens of private Eggenberg Brewery, in the evenings music amusement program will take place there, on Saturday there will be the Tournament of the Roses and on Sunday the Young Lords Tournament will take place there
e) the historical fair will take place apart from the historical centre also on 1st courtyard of Krumlov State Castle and Chateau
f) Theare Park will be used for the first time - the theatre scene by Municipal Theatre
g) in accompanying program there are more minor events in various places, the new places are the Little courtyard at U Malého Vítka Hotel, Saint Vitus Church, Saint Martin´s church in Municipal
Park, Theatre Park which was mentioned before
i) the festive award of the Prize of the town for the year 2004 is combined with the festive meeting of the partner towns and with the release of the František Zborník´s book called ¨Rosenberg´s festivals, seven scripts from the last Rosenbergs´ life¨ (under the auspices of the Southbohemian vicesheriff Ing. arch. Robin Schinko) and with the gala program of the Fioretto dancing chorus and the chorus Chairé. During the performance the childrens´flautist chorus Krumlovští pištci will release their new CD.
