Prior to joining Vale Canada, BuRum was with Kraft Canada, Aon Hewitt and OMERS. He has over 15 years of experience in pensions and benefits and earned his honours, bachelor of arts degree from York University.

Paul is a proud Maritimer having lived in that region of Canada for more than 25 years. In 1989, Paul earned a business degree from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax and for the past 25 years (and counting) he has made a career in “group insurance”.

During that 25 year period, Paul has held a number of senior positions in Sales, Sales Management, Client Services and Operations in both the Insurer and TPA environments. Eric Menzer, CFA, CAIA, AIF®,is a Managing Director, Portfolio Solutions Group (PSG), at Manulife Asset Management. Nabil works with client on a variety of group benefits and actuarial projects, including the development of health care strategies, employee and retire plan designs and pricing strategies, claims analysis, insurance carrier reviews and postretirement benefit valuations. He also supports Health and Benefits national committees on innovation and next generation tools and technology.

Nabil is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries. He is also a Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst and is a member of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries Group Insurance Committee. Todd Nelson is a Senior Investment Consultant in the Toronto office. Prior to joining Towers Watson in 2009, Todd worked for five years at another major global consulting firm for five years. He has experience with a wide variety of institutional clients, including defined benefit and defined contribution plan sponsors as well as endowments & foundations. Todd’s responsibilities include assisting plan sponsors on all aspects of managing their investment programs, including establishment of investment policies, asset allocation, manager structure, manager selection and performance monitoring. Kim's expertise focuses on all legal and regulatory matters relating to the implementation, administration, governance, funding and wind-up of pension, group benefit and profit-sharing plans. This involves advising clients on the development of pension and other employee benefit plans as well as on surplus entitlement disputes, plan governance and ongoing regulatory compliance.

In addition, clients seek Kim's advice on pension and benefits matters in corporate

reorganizations, acquisitions and mergers, among other business transactions. She is also skilled at negotiating and drafting agreements for the administration and funding of pension and benefit

plans. Kim previously worked at Blakes from 1999 to 2005. Before rejoining the Firm, she worked in the pensions and benefits group of three other international law firms and at an international pension consulting firm.

Kim is a member of the executive of the Pension and Benefits Section of the Ontario Bar Association.

Prior to joining Ryerson, Shenagh held a variety of positions in the Insurance and TPA environments with roles in pension plan management, pension compliance and group benefit consulting. Oma Sharma is a Partner in Mercer's Toronto office. She is the Defined Contribution (DC) Consulting Leader for Canada, responsible for the strategic direction of Mercer’s Canadian DC consulting offering. She also sits on Mercer’s Global DC Leadership Group, North American Investment Business Leadership Group and Canadian Retirement Business Leadership Group. Oma has over 25 years of experience in the retirement and investment fields. Oma consults to her clients on all aspects of the DC value chain.
