TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER

IUT is also the possibility for companies to have access to heavy materials of the conception type and machining, characterization by spectrometry and infrared and fluorescent X, water quality analysis, study of the electromagnetic compatibility but equally the aid in the choice or the decision by specific study biases (experiment plans, management logistics, and accounting).

Employees charged with the responsibility in the fields of accounting, finance, management control and business technology, assistant of the head of Human Resources, assistant to a director of a small of medium sized company (PME-PMI).

After Technical Degree (DUT)

Extended Technical Route: level L in management then

level M in accounting audit control, Accounting Expertise, Economic Science, Law, and Business School.

Preparation for administrative exams.

Shorter Technical Route: Professional Degree in Human Resources

Management, Operational Manager in a small or medium sized company (PME-PMI), Employee for international activities, Financial Accounting

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Degree Required: High School Diploma or the equivalent

Admissions Decision: Admissions decision is based on the academic file and an interview.

The DUT GEA is a 2-year program.

There is the possibility of doing one year (the second year of the normal program), for students with two years of post-secondary education. This option is available in Human Resources or Finance and Accounting.

New Pedagogical Option: At the end of the first year of the program (at full time), it’s possible to follow a second year in alternation with a professional contract or a teaching contract.

DESCRIPTION

The technical degree in management and administration (DUT GEA) is preparation for several careers in business management and administration.

In the second year, students can choose between three options:

Finance and Accounting Option

Master accounting, finance, and budget procedures and techniques.

Human Resources

Accomplish tasks and take on the specific responsibility with administration of personnel.

Small and Medium Size Organizations

Oversee the daily management of a private or public organization in its

variety of domains (logistical and commercial, legal and fiscal, accounting and financial).

This program provides that the elements of knowledge, know-how and confidence through a synthesis of teaching and working for a total of 1620 hours, of which ¾ are organized by guided work and practical work. There are guided projects involving teamwork in addition to a practicum or internship in an organization for at least 10 weeks of the entire curriculum.

Our Technical Degree in Marketing aims at forming students in view of occupying positions skillful salespersons that are independent and adaptable.

Degree Required:High School Diploma (all tracts, however S, ES, STL, ST2S, STQV, and STG are desired)

Admissions Decision:After an examination of the application + test and individual interview.

New Pedagogical Option:The DUT TCiaa is available in alternation with a professional contract after the first year.

DESCRIPTION

The DUT TCIAA trains students who aim to have commercial positions specializing in sales. The program aims at acquiring knowledge and skills to exercise professional functions, by integrating the elements that allow one to master the future evolutions of these functions. The program contributes to personal development, to the development of the sense of responsibilities, and the individual learning process as well as that of a team.

The DUT TCIAA is for entry into middle management with the possibility of eventually moving into upper

Department heads in medium and large grocery chains, commercial attachés in trade (wholesale and semi-wholesale), sellers (VRP exclusive) in national and international agro-food industry companies, creation of individual companies, business management positions within small and medium sized enterprises.

The BA in international trade:

•trains Bac +2 management and commerce graduates in leading operational teams in the European management field

Professional training

12-week internship from April to July or at least 60 days of training in alternation.

At the end of the internship, students must submit a report of their experience and conduct a presentation and a defense of their report.

Job-holders are required to write a report of their professional activity and conduct a presentation and a small defense of their report.

Must have obtained a High School Diploma and completed two years of post-secondary school education.

DESCRIPTION

This program principally aims at professional vocation with opportunities in the employment of collaborators in International Activities.

The degree prepares the student for all company functions, including accounting (notably English), and international tax law. It mainly concerns the interface that allows small and medium sized companies to enter European markets.

It also concerns the organization needed for collaboration with similar structures of the European region. The LP CAI degree can also be done overseas in a partner university of IUT.

EVALUATIONS & EXAMINATIONS

Continuous evaluations and semester exams.

The Professional Degree is awarded to students who have simultaneously an average equal or above 10/20 collectively in all academic units, including the guided project and internship. Students must have equal or above a 10/20 collectively between the guided project and the internship

7 academic units comprised of theoretical knowledge and professional know-how.

The theoretical knowledge courses UE1 to UE4 are focused around 2 major points (coefficient 3). Academic unites UE1 and UE4 aim at the acquisition of dual abilities. The units of on-the-job professional training UE5 (supervised project in a company) and UE6 (4 month internship) builds towards the professional

component of the program with job placement as its aim.

This Professional Degree first and foremost aims at professional job placement in all Technical Marketing and Services sectors where technical sales representatives are sought. These representatives will be able to make a technical sales proposition adapted to client needs and then being the representative with the know-how for managing the follow-up and maintenance of the commercial relationship.

(non-exhaustive list) or have completed two years of a diploma in science and technology.

DESCRIPTION

The aim of this technical sales program is to acquire a dual ability to build a professional career.

The CESI Professional Degree suites students who have the scientific and technical pre-requisites at a level Bac +2 the skills necessary for marketing industrial goods and/or services.

The program facilitates the success of students by providing for operational jobs in companies, including projects and long internships (4 months) that allow the shaping of professional plans by means of integrating students into the world of work.

Diploma will be obtained with an overall average of 10 in all academic units, which includes projects and the internships.

The goal of the Technical Measurement departmentis to train highly qualified technicians with a vast array of skills based in the physical sciences.

The program is 4 semesters. It’s comprised of set courses, guided projects and an internship at the end of the studies. Every semester, courses are divided into academic units (UE) and assessment modules (M: Modules capitalisables) for which grades are assigned as means of evaluation of the results obtained by each student.

Organized education is delivered in the form of courses, directed work for theoretical learning complimenting practical learning which makes up about 40% of the hours.

What’s New: Starting September 2013 the Technical Degree in Quality, Industrial Logistics, and Organization (QLIO) will be offered as an apprenticeship in accordance with the regional council of Nord-Pas de Calais.

DESCRIPTION

The technical degree in Quality, Industrial Logistics, and Organization aims at preparing senior technicians capable of working in careers related to the mastery of flow, specialized, although also possessing a firm foundation of basics in industrial logistics or in quality.

The senior technician of this specialty is capable, no matter the work sector in which they are employed:

In the organizational domain:

Set up and organize production resources and logistics, put in place and evaluate information systems,

In flow management:

Plan operations the resources incurred, authorize, launch, and follow operations, utilize information systems dedicated to logistics, participate in the set-up of a flow improvement plan,

In the domain of quality assurance supervision:

Use, with respect to a quality assurance plan, statistical tools and methodology that allows the mastery of processes and quality, participate in setting up a quality improvement plan.
