The new sound of Stavanger
Stavanger’s new concert hall will open in the autumn of 2011. It will be a visionary and innovative building, and one of the most attractive music stages in Europe. The new concert hall will have an orchestra hall tailor-made for acoustic music performance, and a flexible multi-purpose hall. The aim is to create Norway’s foremost arena for rock and musical theatre. The concert hall will house a total combined audience of 3400 – and is designed to permit both symphony concerts and rock concerts to be held simultaneously.
