II. Detailed information

1. Module aim (aims)

Students to acquire the basic principles and institutions of church law

understood as canon law, the internal law of the Catholic Church. The student

also learns the internal organization of the Catholic Church as well as the basic

legal acts regulating it.

2. Pre-requisites in terms of knowledge, skills and social competences (where relevant)

Prerequisites are knowledge of the following: basic knowledge of social and

political history, basic knowledge of religious law and Roman law, the history

of state and law, the history of political ideas or general orientation in the

history of civilization.

There are no specific requirements in terms of skills and social competence.

subordinate bodies in charge of the Catholic
