ESADE FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME
TALENT SCHOLARSHIP
2014-2015 ACADEMIC YEAR
In keeping with its mission, the ESADE Foundation strives to attract talent and provide opportunities to students with outstanding academic records and limited economic resources. ESADE therefore offers Talent Scholarships to finance studies in the Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor in Law, Double Degree in Business Administration and Law, Bachelor in Law & Bachelor in Global Governance, MSc Programmes in Management, and Master in Law. To finance these scholarships, the ESADE Foundation uses its own resources as well as donated funds.
1. REQUIREMENTS
Candidates who wish to apply for this ESADE Foundation scholarship must:
Have been admitted to or be currently enrolled in the Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) programme, or
Have been admitted to or be currently enrolled in the Bachelor in Law programme, or
Have been admitted to or be currently enrolled in the Double Degree in Business Administration and Law programme, or
Have been admitted to the Bachelor in Law & Bachelor in Global Governance programme, or
Have been admitted to one of the MSc Programmes in Management after completing the ESADE BBA, or
Have been admitted to the Master in Law programme.
Demonstrate financial need, specifically their family’s difficulty with financing these programmes. Barring exceptional circumstances, scholarships will not be granted to students whose family income exceeds €95,000 gross/year for a family of four people.
Present their academic record.
Present their application before the deadline. Students must present all required documentation in order for their application to be considered.
2 2. DOCUMENTATION
1. A duly completed scholarship application.
2. A copy of the most recent personal income tax return for every member of the family, if applicable.
3. In the case of employed workers, in addition to a personal income tax return, an income certificate from the worker’s current company must be submitted.
4. A copy of the family’s wealth tax return. If not applicable because the family does not reach the legally established minimum, the applicant must provide a certificate from the Tax Authority indicating that no such return has been filed. In addition, the applicant must present a private document detailing the family’s assets, securities and real estate properties.
5. If the applicant is a shareholder or partial owner of a family business, he or she must present copies of the company’s balance sheets and annual accounts for the last three years.
6. Applicants who are separated or divorced must provide a copy of the settlement agreement.
7. Students who are about to begin the first year of their respective programmes must provide a copy of their payment receipt from the school where they completed their baccalaureate studies. If students were granted a scholarship to study at that school, they must provide a certificate issued by the school granting that scholarship.
To ensure that scholarships are awarded as fairly as possible, the Scholarship Committee may refer to any documentation ESADE may have about the candidates. It may also gather any additional data it deems necessary to assess the candidates’ personal circumstances and to determine that those circumstances remain unchanged throughout the scholarship period.

Applicants will be notified of the decision by the dates mentioned above at the email address indicated on their applications.
4. SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT
Scholarships cover 50% to 90% of the tuition fees for the academic year in question.
The total amount received by any ESADE student in the form of scholarships, awards, grants and honours (excluding housing, study-abroad and SUD scholarships) may not exceed 100% of tuition fees for the academic year. Receiving a talent-based scholarship is not compatible with receiving a Family Grant for another sibling.
Students must submit applications for this scholarship every year and sign a commitment document provided by the ESADE Foundation.
