treasurer of theCommonwealth
shall forthwith send his warrant, directed to the selectmen orassessors ofeach city or
town
taxed as aforesaid,requir-ing
them
respectively to assess thesum
so charged,ac-cording to the provisions of chapter eleven of the Public Statutes,
and
toadd theamount
of such taxto theamount
oftown and
county taxesto beassessedby them
respec-tively
on
each cityand
town.Section 3.
The
treasurer of theCommonwealth
in hiswarrant shall require the said selectmen or assessors to
pay, or issue severally their warrant or Avarrants
requir-ing the treasurers of their several cities or
towns
to pay,to the treasurer of the
Commonwealth,
on
or before thetenth
day
ofDecember
in the year nineteen hmidredand
one, the
sums
set against said citiesand towns
in theschedule aforesaid;
and
the selectmen or assessorsrespec-tively shall return a certificate of the
names
of thetreas-urers of their several cities

towns, with thesum
