DEAN’S FOREWORD

I am pleased to present a summary record of the academic activities in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at Sabancı University from September 2010 to August 2011. I wish to thank all faculty members and students for their sustained and increasing contributions to scientific publications and artistic activities at FASS.

As in the previous years, Inci Ceydeli, Tuğcan Başara and Sumru Şatır have collected, organized and edited the material, and Meltem Müftüler-Baç has read a draft and pointed out several errors and omissions.
