Shallow lake (3m at its deepest point) next to the campsite warming up rapidly. Supervised swimming in July and August. Dogs are not allowed around the lake. Direct access: Meouge gorges, rocks in Serres, Gouravour stream, Germanette and Riou lakes After a few minutes’ walk: Rabou waterfall, “Marmites du Diable”. Kids love playing in the quiet, shallow river 200m away; younger ones build dams with the stones.

General sales conditions
In order to become eligible to use the all services provided by Les Rives du Lac, we request that you read the following general sales conditions carefully. These conditions govern the sale of holidays, and take effect from the moment the order is made. By reserving a holiday, you agree to comply fully with our general conditions.
● Booking conditions
The reservation becomes effective solely with the agreement of the camping, upon receipt of the deposit and either upon receipt of the booking contract duly completed and signed, or upon your agreeing to the general conditions of sale when booking on-line. Booking of camping pitches or rented accommodation is made strictly on a personal basis. You may not under any circumstances sub-let or transfer your reservation without the prior consent of the camping. Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.
● Arrival and departure
· Concerning a camping pitch: arrival from 12.00 o’clock, departure between 7.00 and 12.00 o’clock. If departure takes place after 12.00 o’clock, another night will be added to your invoice.
- Concerning rental accommodation: arrival from 16.00 o’clock – departure before 10.00 o’clock. At your arrival you have to remit a deposit of 250 euros; which will be rendered at the time of departure after substractions of fees for cleaning, repair or replacement for any dammages done to the accomodation or the premises. ● Payment conditions ◦ For a camping pitch, 114,00 € at time of reservation (100,00 € deposit, 14,00 € reservation fee). The balance must be paid in full upon arrival at the campsite. For rental accommodation, at time of reservation a deposit of 30% of the total amount due + 14,00 € reservation fee. The balance must be paid in full at the latest 30 days before the arrival date.
◦ For bookings made less than 30 days before the date of arrival, payment must be made in full at the time of booking.
● Cancellation and alteration
◦ Alterations to your booking may be made at no cost before your arrival date, subject to availability and acceptation by Les Rives du Lac.
• In the absence of any notification from you regarding a change of arrival date, the accommodation may be made available for sale again 24 hours after the arrival date specified on the contract, and you will consequently forfeit your booking. Any stay that is interrupted or cut short (late arrival, early departure) by you shall not give rise to reimbursement.
◦ In the event of cancellation by Les Rives du Lac, except in the case of force majeure, the stay will be reim- bursed in full. This cancellation shall nevertheless not incur the payment of damages and interest.
◦ In the event of cancellation by the customer, any cancellation of a booking must be made in writing (recorded delivery) to Les Rives du Lac. For cancellations before april 1st 50% of the advance payment will be reimbursed 50%, after April 1st the prepaid deposit shall be retained. We recommend you to subscribe a cancellation insurance.
● Insurance It is the camper’s responsibility to take out insurance: Les Rives du Lac accepts no responsibility in the event of theft, fire, bad weather, etc., or in the event of any incident concerning the civil responsibility of the camper. All clients must comply with the provisions of the internal regulations. Each named tenant is responsible for disturbances and nuisance caused by persons staying with or visiting him.
● Pets are not allowed in rental accommodation in July and August. At the camping site pets are allowed, apart from (French) category 1 and 2 dogs. All pets must be kept on lead at all times.
● Most important points of the house rules All our guest have to follow the house rules, which will be handed out to you upon arrival. Your friends who like to stop by are welcome to do so, if they present themselves at the reception desk upon their arrival, remitting the fees due for their visit. Each named tenant is responsible for disturbances and nuisance caused by persons staying with or visiting him. Visitors of customers are not allowed to use the pool. Only gas or electrical (6Amps) barbecues are allowed.
Pool is opened from 9am to 7pm everyday. Long shorts are not allowed for men (only “speedo style”). Showers are mandatory.
