Steps to access DLP for Microsoft Partners
for the first time
Important Note
Before you start, it is strongly recommended that you perform these steps by using Windows and Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge.
Please contact dlpsupport@microsoft.com if your access to DLP fails or if any of the steps described below does not match with what you see on your screen.
1. You have received an automatic e-mail from IT MBS Support (ITMBSSUP@microsoft.com) with the subject titled “Microsoft Dynamics PartnerSource Invitation”. This screenshot below is for
illustration purposes only to show you what the e-mail body text looks like. The link used in the screenshot is fictitious. You need to use the URL link that is included in the e-mail you have received.

3. Make sure that you are not logged on to any other Microsoft Accounts during this process such as outlook.com, hotmail.com, live.com.
4. Clean your cache as follows:
In Internet Explorer In Microsoft Edge a) Open Internet Explorer
b) Click Safety (or use CTRL+Shift+Del) c) Select Delete browsing history…
d) Checkmark the following two items and click Delete
e) Open an InPrivate Browsing session of Internet Explorer as follows:
i. Open Internet Explorer ii. Click Tools
iii. Select InPrivate Browsing
f) Proceed to step 5
a) Open Microsoft Edge
b) Click the horizontal ellipsis … located at the top right hand side
c) Click Settings
d) Click Choose what to clear
e) Checkmark the following items and click Clear
f) Click the horizontal ellipsis … located at the top right hand side and select New InPrivate window
3 | P a g e 5. Open the e-mail you received from IT MBS Support.
6. Copy the association link and paste it in the InPrivate Browsing window.
Note: if you are using Edge, select Keep going in Microsoft Edge
7. You will be prompted with the following Sign In page. Make sure to select Organizational account.
Companies will have an organizational account if they have signed up for a Microsoft organizational service, such as Office 365.
An organizational account can take the form of a user’s organizational email address, such as username@orgname.com.
4 | P a g e 8. You will be prompted with the Microsoft Log In page showing the Space Needle.
9. Sign in using your organizational account provided by your work or school.
10. You should see your company logo by now and you could potentially be asked for phone or sms authentication.
11. After you have completed the sign in, you will be prompted with the following Thank You message.
Very important note: If you get the “This Account Is Already Associated” message instead, it is because you have already associated your account to a MS account (formerly Windows Live ID) in the past. Proceed to step 12 and make sure to select Microsoft Dynamics Partners in steps 15, 17, 19 and 22.
12. Open a new window in InPrivate Browsing.
13. Copy this link https://mbspartner.microsoft.com/landing and paste it in the InPrivate Browsing window.
14. You will be prompted with the DLP Welcome Page.
15. Select Organizational Accounts (or Microsoft Dynamics Partners if you got the message This Account is Already Associated)
16. You will be prompted again with the same Sign In page as described above in Figure 1.1: Microsoft Dynamics Extranet Login Page
17. Select Organizational account (or Microsoft Dynamics Customers and Partners if you got the message This Account Is Already Associated)
5 | P a g e 18. You will be prompted again with the Microsoft Log In page.
19. Sign in using your organizational account provided by your work or school (or Sign In using your MS Account (formerly Windows Live ID) if you got the message This Account Is Already Associated).
20. You should see your company logo by now and you could potentially be asked for phone or sms authentication.
21. You will be prompted for the last time with the same Sign In page as described above in Figure 1.1: Microsoft Dynamics Extranet Login Page
22. Select Organizational account (or Microsoft Dynamics Customers and Partners if you got the message This Account Is Already Associated)
23. You will now be prompted with the DLP Profile page.
24. Fill out the required fields. This is only required on your first visit to DLP. 25. Click Save & Continue.
26. You will be prompted with DLP Home Page and you are now ready to consume any training asset! 27. Add the link to your favorites to help you access DLP on your next visit to the portal.
