Habitat Bergen

• Habitat Bergen participating in the Hurricane Relief Charity Event in Moonachie, NJ to raise funds and distribute supplies to Bergen County victims devastated by Sandy.

IN NEED: For those in need of food and warm clothing, the Father English Emergency Food Pantry is open Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the clothing boutique is open Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

TO DONATE: Father English Center is currently accepting donations of food (perishables and non-perishables for now) and winter clothing to help those in immediate need after the hurricane.

non-perishable food, manual can openers, diapers and baby formula, batteries, crackers and warm clothing (preferably unused).

• The first step in applying for disaster unemployment assistance is filing an unemployment claim.

2. Temporary Location or Temporary Employees

• Use phones, photocopiers, and fax machines at your local One-Stop Career Center • Funds are available to hire workers for many temporary jobs associated with disaster
