This document shows the most commonly pointed out suggestions for improvements at the IT University of Copenhagen in the course evaluation for fall 2010.

Wish for general improvement (speed, stability, access, coverage). Places
mentioned with especially poor coverage are the small corner group rooms at the 4th floor and auditorium 2.
Rooms: 148 answers
73 comments on a general need for more and bigger rooms. Too many students in relation to rooms
30 comments on ScrollBar not being used as class room. Difficult to see and hear when having classic lectures. Obnoxious smell from the toilets on the second floor.
24 would like to have more group rooms
13 students find the chairs with small tables unsuitable. No place for laptop and no power available. Furthermore the chairs have very bad sitting comfort 8 wishes for more work places
Power sockets 46 answers
46 comments on more power sockets in auditoriums and classrooms – especially aud.1.
Work load 45 answers
45 comments on too high workload. Especially for 7,5 ECTS courses which appear to have almost same workload as 15 ECTS courses. Also comments on uneven workload for courses with same number of ECTS.
EatIT: 34 answers
34 would prefer longer opening hours especially nights and weekends with courses

GameLab 29 answers
29 comments on GameLab. Main strands are better conditions for game development for MTG students and more games installed
Course base – planning and registration 29 answers
29 comments on processes related to the course base and courses. Two main strands: Too strict process for register and especial unregister or change courses (the binding course registration) and a wish for earlier information about course schedule for the next term.

Main strand: 11 comments on hand-in written work and projects. Difficult to complete 3-4 hand-ins in one week.
Other comments: More individual written work and less group exams. Wish for more flexible exam schedule for part time students
