Scope of Work

This proposal includes the redesign of the website located at

http://www.gelfoambed.com/

. It includes

the conversion of the website to WordPress, utilizing the WooCommerce toolkit, for a professional and

flexible presentation.

Pricing

Development Cycle: initial 16 month period

$300.00

per month auto draft

25 hours of website development per month for the first 3 months

1 hour of website maintenance per month for the remaining 13 months

Additional non-standard woocommerce extensions will be charged at cost

Hosting plus dedicated IP, 1 SSL, and 1 domain name

Hosting/Maintenance Cycle: month to month after initial 16 month period

The website will be developed using standards-based coding with a WordPress Content Management

System powered by PHP and MySQL. Design will be proprietary to client ensuring uniqueness in the

marketplace.

Design:

The design will be unique and give your website a professional appearance that

will increase end-user confidence and experience. The site will be easy to navigate and

search.

Content / Navigation:

The site content and navigation structure will be crisp and

clean ensuring a positive user experience. Client will supply all content & images. If stock

photography is required it will be added to the contract price.

Cross-Browser:

Site will appear the same in all current browsers.

Search Engine Optimization:

Site will be fully optimized with standards

based SEO including

automatic

XML Sitemap generation & submission to all major search

engines (every time the site is updated search engines will be notified automatically).

Responsive:

The site is completely responsive meaning the site adapts to any screen

size from a large computer all the way down to a mobile device. While it will be rendered

differently based on the device, it will be optimized to the size of the screen.

Administration:

The site will come with a state of the art WordPress CMS that will

allow simple content management from the password protected “Admin” area of the website.

The first image below shows the “Pages” area of the admin with built-in search engine

optimization for each page. The second image drills down to the “Edit Page” area showcasing

a Microsoft Word style editor for easy website updating.

WooCommerce:

Below are some of the advantages to this toolkit.

STRENGTH & FLEXIBILITY:

WooCommerce is built using WordPress best practices both

on the front and the back end. This results in an efficient, robust and intuitive plugin.

SMART DASHBOARD WIDGETS & REPORTS:

Keep a birds-eye view of incoming

sales and reviews, stock levels and general store performance and statistics all from

the WordPress dashboard or go to the reports section to view stats in more detail.

Contract Details

Contract Authorization:

This contract becomes effective when an authorized representative of the customer replies to Strafire, LLC signifying their acceptance of the terms of this contract.

Liability:

Strafire, LLC is not liable for any loss of equipment, loss of data, or any direct or ancillary costs tied to the rendering of services or support.

Site Content:

The customer is solely responsible for the content within the site. Any text that is used within the site should be provided by the client within 7 calendar days to aid in site completion, unless otherwise notated by Strafire, LLC. Strafire, LLC will do their best to aid the client in understanding what types of information should be displayed in what locations. Strafire, LLC will also do their best to catch typing errors, punctuation, wording issues, etc

Property:

Any code, pictures, or design layouts displayed during the process are property of Strafire, LLC until the final product is approved. The final design is not to be used in any other format or for any other purpose than originally intended. The information contained in this document is confidential to the parties directly involved with the implementation of this project.

Hosting Services:

Strafire, LLC is not the owner of the host server, and is therefore not responsible for server uptime, e-mail uptime, or any data changed or lost on the server. The monthly charge may be increased due to high levels of bandwidth use, processing requirements, custom software, or storage space. Other factors that may be exclusive to individual websites could result in higher hosting fees.

Maintenance:

Any changes that require more than the aforementioned Maintenance hours will be billed at our current per hour rates. The aforementioned hours are able to be used during the calendar month, but are not capable of being “banked” from month to month, unless explicitly declared in a previous Section.

Design Services:

Strafire, LLC will abide by normal industry standards for all website design services unless listed in this contract or at www.strafire.com. Unless otherwise specified in the contract, the maximum number of iterations on any design work is two renderings. This includes Website design layout, graphic design, or any other services provided by Strafire, LLC or one of their affiliates.

We strive to develop an ongoing partnership with our clients by providing high end services at a fair price. Not only do our clients select us to portray their organization’s image, but we also evaluate our clients based on their organization and representatives. We believe partnerships, and as is frequently the case, friendships, are developed through keeping Christ at the forefront of all our business dealings.

Work Expectations and Estimates:

As a sense of general planning requirements and to assist in preparation to include hours in a given month, the following time frames can usually be assumed:

Time to estimate projects <= 5 hours = 3 business days Time to estimate projects > 5 hours = 5 business days Estimated rate of work = 2 hours per business day

For example, if a 12 hour project should be completed in March, it should be submitted 11 business days before the end of the month to insure completion utilizing March hours.

Default:

If the customer defaults under any of the terms of this contract, the full cost of the associated contract will be due immediately. In the case of a violation of this contract, all future, current and previous work is subject to removal from the “live website,” until all balances are paid in full and/or a new contract is negotiated.

All screenshots displayed in this contract are merely examples of what is possible using the WordPress CMS platform. Customers site will vary based on configuration, themes, plugins, etc

This contract is provided in good faith and, if not executed by an approved representative of Strafire, LLC, will expire 30 days from the date this document was submitted to an approved Strafire, LLC representative. If the contract has expired, it must be renewed as a new contract. Strafire, LLC withholds the right to extend an updated contract to the customer for the purpose of life changes or re-evaluation of the above stated price structure or clarification of details including, but not limited to , design specifications, work flow, correspondence, and number of design iterations. This contract will exist until explicitly canceled in writing or via e-mail by Strafire, LLC or by the customer.

company for over 10 years. He has successfully partnered with

businesses of all sizes: from startup sole proprietorships to

multi-million dollar corporations. Joel has been able to develop Strafire

through his technical project organization skills utilizing years of

practical experience in conjunction with a Masters of Business

Administration that emphasized Information Technology.
