ORDERING YOUR TREAT MEALS

WE NEED 48 NOTICE

Please give us a minimum of 48 hours notice, so if ordering for Friday please let us know before 1700 on Wednesday.

EAT THEM EARLY

All the meals will keep in the fridge, but for best results plan to eat your treat meals on the day you receive them.

WE CAN MAKE SUBSTITUTIONS

We can make substitutions for you so please let us know when you order if there are any items you’d like to change.

ALCOHOL IS A GIFT

Some packages come with alcohol. The reason for this is we have lots of stock that we won’t be using for some time, some of which will be past its use by date by the time we go back to normal. We are adding this in as a gift, so if you’d rather not have it, just let us know. We are effectively giving it away though, so removing it won’t reduce the price.

KEEP THE FEEDBACK COMING

We want to keep things interesting and varied for you, so please keep the feedback coming and let us know if you have any favourites you’d like to see on the next edition of menus. We are constantly trying to improve this service.

TELL A FRIEND, GET A DISCOUNT

If you are enjoying our food and the service, please let your friends know. If anyone mentions your name when ordering, we will happily give you both 10% off your next order. If you use Instagram, feel free to tag us too.

CURRY NIGHT

£30.00

WHAT’S INCLUDED

(Please let us know if you’d like to swap out any items)

• 3x main curry dishes

Chicken tikka masala – Salmon madras – Vegetable bhuna

• Pilau rice kit, and raw basmati rice kernels

• Coconut and coriander dhal

• Garlic and herb naan

• Poppadum

• Bottle of wine

How to prepare your curries

Unfortunately, rice is a high-risk item, so we can’t send it cooked, but here’s how to cook the perfect pilau rice.

• Wash your rice under a slow running tap until the water becomes clear, to remove excess starch.

• Put in a deep pan and cover the rice with cold water. You’re looking for a 2:1 water to rice ratio.

• Bring to the boil slowly on a low-medium heat and allow to simmer for roughly 15 minutes or until cooked. Drain and allow the steam to evaporate.

• Fry your pilau rice kit in oil, on a medium heat for approximately 2 minutes.

Add the rice and fry for an additional 3-5 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.

• Your meat, fish or vegetables will be marinated and all you need to do is pan fry until they are a nice golden brown colour, adding a little seasoning to your taste.

• Your sauce is ready to go, so start gently heating in a saucepan and add your meat, fish or vegetables. Gently simmer for around 20 minutes.

• The dahl can be heated either in the microwave or on the stove on a gentle heat stirring occasionally.

• For your naan breads, set the oven to 160oC and bake for 5 minutes.

• Enjoy!

THE PERFECT SUNDAY ROAST

WE DO THE LEG WORK, YOU ENJOY THE EXPERIENCE

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

Roast potatoes – already steamed, seasoned and oiled ready for the oven. Preheat the oven to 190oC and put them on the top shelf for 50 minutes, turning after 25 minutes. Do this first so you have time to get everything else ready while they’re roasting!

Spatchcock whole roast chicken – we have already marinated, cooked and seasoned this for you. It just needs 20 minutes in the oven with the potatoes, to heat through, so add it to the oven about 30 minutes after the spuds.

Sirloin of beef – place on a roasting tray and cook at 190oC in the middle of the oven. For medium-rare it will take around 45 minutes and a further 25 minutes to rest (cover with tin foil after removing from the oven). For maximum efficiency, get this in the oven 20 minutes before the spuds, so they can finish cooking while the beef rests.

Pork belly – this has been prepared and cooked for you and just needs to be reheated. Separate the crackling, cover the belly in foil and put in the oven for 20 minutes. The crackling just needs a quick flash in the oven at the end.

Carrots and parsnips – they will arrive part roasted with butter and honey. All they need is another 20 minutes in the same oven as the spuds!

Cauliflower cheese puree – you can reheat this in the microwave or on a low heat in a saucepan. It will take just a few minutes.

Yorkshire puddings – these are ready, just warm them through in the oven for a couple of minutes near the end.

Red wine sauce – this is ready and just needs bringing to the boil slowly. You can do this whenever you like and keep it warm on a low heat.

Sautéed spring cabbage – this is the last thing you do, just sauté (fry) in a pan for 3 minutes, with a little butter or oil and add a touch of seasoning.

• Enjoy your Sunday roast and have a glass of wine on us!
