BW, IGS & ESRI ArcIMS

Using the Internet Graphics Service (IGS) the generation of analytical

maps is available out of the box

The IGS can optionally communicate with the Map Server from ESRI

(ArcIMS) and can use it as a supplier of geographical data such as

detailed street maps that automatically appear in the background of the

analytical data.

Interfaces from IGS can also be used to leverage geo services from

ArcIMS; however, this requires project-specific developments.

The following scenarios are conceivable beyond pure analytical

mapping:

Automatic geocoding of new customers in the call center

Perimeter analyses using spatial queries for location searches

Route planning or determining distances for optimization of routes
