Background
CEPREI Certification Body has been a proud CSA Executive Member since 2014.
CEPREI joins an exclusive group of organization representing the top 5% of the global trusted cloud eco-system driven by the CSA. The Fifth Electronics Research Institute of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (China CEPREI Laboratory), also known as the China Electronic Product Reliability and Environmental Testing Research Institute, was established in 1955 and is the first scientific research organization to engage in product quality and reliability research in China.
China CEPREI Laboratory, with unique legal status, is a registrar authorized and accredited by national department and/or accreditation bodies home and abroad to conduct third-party certification. As the affiliated institute directly under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), CEPREI provides technical support and services not only for industrial management of MIIT and local government, but also for over 10,000 electronic information companies every year.
Why CEPREI?
With the rise of cloud computing and innovation from the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, we are witnessing a boom in technology businesses in APAC. In the past 2 years, we have also witnessed several Asian
technology companies successfully listing their stocks on the New York Stock Exchange and NASDAQ with record-breaking initial public offerings. The rate of technology innovation and revenue generated from
APAC-led innovation are also raising at a rate other regions around the world can only look with envy. Indeed, Asia Pacific is starting to show its leadership not just in innovation, market dominance, but also an increased control of the future.
As with this growth, the Cloud Security Alliance Asia Pacific (CSA APAC) is delighted to announce the 3rd annual CSA APAC Congress will be held on 2 and 3 December, 2015 in Guangzhou, China. CSA international Working Group meetings, CCSK trainings and the CSA Corporate Members Forum will be held on 1 Decem-ber, 2015.

About the CSA
CEPREI Certification Body is a registrar authorized and accredited by national department and/or accreditation bodies home and abroad to conduct third-party certification. It grew out of Inspection Division of China Electronic Product Reliability and Environmental Research Institute (the Fifth Electronic Institute) established in 1956, which is the first scientific research organization at national level engaged in product quality and reliability research in China.
As early as 1979, CEPREI Certification Body introduced the concept of Certification into China. CEPREI has issued more than ten thousand certificates of various types to its clients ever since. It sets foot in all administrative regions in Mainland China and other countries/regions including Hong Kong Special Administration Region, Taiwan, USA, German, Netherlands, Denmark, Australia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore.
