You’re always under pressure to keep your costs down. PackManager’s® savings opportunities helps you identify ways to lower the cost of your procedure pack. You have the flexibility to look at just one pack, or see what the opportunity is for your entire facility. Once you’ve identified where your opportunities are, you can see what components are driving the most savings.

• Ability to see exact or similar component matches • Opportunities to standardize • Access to detailed report comparisons With this feature, you can run a side-by-side

comparison of multiple procedure packs in Excel®, allowing you to identify similarities and differences between packs. For example, if you have two different orthopedic packs for two different doctors, you can run a report that will show you the side-by-side comparison of the pack’s contents, allowing you to identify potential cost savings and standardization opportunities. In addition to comparing your custom packs, you can also compare a custom pack to a Cardinal Health standard pack.

What if you could make

your own changes?

With PackManager’s® “What if” capabilities, you can make changes to your custom procedure packs when you need to. When you make the necessary changes, an email with your requested changes is sent directly to your Cardinal Health sales representative.

The “what if”

page provides:

• Access to drag and drop components from “search” to “add,” using the PackManager® parts search • Ability to delete a

component from your bill of material • Option to replace the

current component with a different component • Ability to change

the quantity of the current component

Having a difficult time standardizing items across your supply chain? Want to identify all the different items used in your procedure pack program and look for standardization opportunities? Look no further!

With the standardization feature in PackManager®, you have access to view all the items used across your procedure pack program, along with usage. You can quickly look for the more commonly used items and consider your standardization options. If you notice you are using five different skin markers, perhaps there is an opportunity to standardize down to one or two.

See how your Presource® procedure packs are built from the ground up. When you are viewing pack images, note the component at the top of the list is pictured to the right of the list (see below).

The pack images

page provides:

• Frame-by-frame slide show showing where each component is placed within your pack. • Training for your new

employees on how the custom packs work, and how they fit within your facility.

The product quality report

page provides:

• Ability to include images of the affected product and details of the issue • Opportunity to specify credit or replacement

A quick and easy way to report

any defective products.

You can submit product quality concerns on your Cardinal Health packs quickly and easily from this page. In addition to completing this online report, please save the affected product. The concern is submitted to your sales representative for further processing, and if necessary, your sales representative will contact you about returning the defective product.

1 How do I register for PackManager®?

Go to packmanager.com and complete

the registration form. You will receive a

user ID and password within 48 hours.

2 Why can’t I find all my packs listed

when I look at my pack inventory?

You may not have the rights to view

all of your facility’s packs. Contact your

sales representative for further visibility.

3 How do I get my user ID

and password?

Click on the link from the login page that

says “Forgot User ID/Password.” Complete

the form and send it to the Help Desk, or

call 800.326.6457.
