Face-Coverings (UPDATE):

While the Methodist Church in Ireland have made allowance for some relaxation on the wearing of face-coverings during services of worship, their recommendation remains that they are worn for the duration of the service. Our Church Council will

consider this matter in the coming weeks but based on the current Covid case numbers in the local area, the policy in Seymour Street remains that face-coverings

should be worn throughout services except for those who are medically exempt.

Social Distancing:

Having considered the cautionary advice and the layout of our church building our Church Council have taken the decision to maintain social distancing for our worship

services as close to 2m as possible. This will be kept under ongoing review in the coming months.

Self-Isolation

Our leaders have considered the situation regarding those who have been close contacts of people testing positive for Covid-19. While we recognise that it goes

beyond both NI Executive and Methodist Church in Ireland advice, we are requesting that if you have a positive case in your home, please do not attend any church activities until after a second clear PCR test at day 8. This is to ensure that attending services and activities in Seymour Street remains as safe as possible for

everyone.

There will be NO C4K this Sunday, 31 October.

All the details for the coming months for C4K, 10.24 & P.O.D. can be found HERE

Both services will be streamed to YouTube from 9.55 and 11.25am respectively (see further details below).

The phone-in service can be accessed 'on demand' at any stage during the week by

upload the recording of the service.

Exciting news!! Our weekly online broadcast services are moving from Facebook Live to YouTube.

This will mean services can be accessed by anyone without the need for a Facebook log in.

The change should allow us to stream services Live on YouTube and share the link to Facebook almost immediately.

What do you need to do?...

Use this LINK or search 'Seymour Street Methodist Church' on YouTube.

Then select SUBSCRIBE and click on the BELL. This will then alert you just like Facebook to any broadcasts from Seymour Street.

Alternatively, YouTube links to the 10am and 11:30am services each Sunday will also appear on our Facebook feed. Please note there will no longer be a notification from

Facebook that a service is Live.

Any questions, please DM the Facebook page.

SPEND LOCAL VOUCHERS

Some members of the congregation have been in touch to say that they would like to pass on the gift of their £100 Spend Local vouchers to others in our community who

are in situations of need. If you wish to pass on the benefit of your voucher, we are suggesting that you spend the voucher locally yourself, but then make a donation of

its value to our church benevolent fund.

This will mean that we can respond more appropriately to situations of need as they arise in the coming months.

A special offering plate will be available in the porch on Sunday mornings for the next few weeks. If you wish Gift Aid to be reclaimed on any donations, please put them in

an envelope and mark it with your FWO number.

If you wish to donate online, please contact Adrienne who will be able to pass on the

details you need.
