This week’s feature:
Parish Code: QBKRGW ST. FAUSTINA OF THE DIVINE MER- CY SAID: "...Oh, how great is Your majes- ty. Jesus, why do You conceal Your majesty, why have You left Your heavenly throne and dwelt among us? The Lord answered me, My daughter, love has brought Me here, and love keeps Me here. My daughter, if you knew what great merit and reward is earned by one act of pure love for Me, you would die of joy. I am saying this that you may con- stantly unite yourself with Me through love,
for this is the goal of the life of your soul. This act is an act of the will. Know that a pure soul is humble. When you lower and empty yourself before My majesty, I then pursue you with My graces and make use of My omnipotence to exalt you." (St.
Faustina Diary, 576) Used with permission of the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception of the B.V.M."

FINDING JESUS WITH ST. THERESE OF LISIEUX On Thursday evening October 14 at 7:15 pm in the Church we’ll continue our year-long consideration of St. Therese of Lisieux’s autobiography, STORY OF A SOUL. Our objec- tive is to follow St. Therese’s “little way” thru Mary to Jesus by reading and considering one chapter of her book each month—learning the basics of living a life of deep contem- plative prayer and how to cooperate with God’s grace as He seeks to sanctify us in the ordinary situations of daily life.
Topics that we will be considering in Chapter One: 1) Why Flowers?; 2) the greatest manifestation of Divine Power; 3) Young Therese could be a brat!; 4) the best way to beat the Devil and tell him where to go—and he listens! All sinners are welcome to join us… saints? … it would be a waste of your time; stay home and watch TV instead!
