WELCOME P a r a d i s e 1 0 1

Welcome to Paradise 101!

We are Eva and Ed Solomon. Most of the year we live In Ann Arbor, Michigan, but we spend as much time In Delray Beach as we can. We have been visiting Delray Beach since 1986 and are excited to now have our own Delray Beach bungalow, "Paradise 101," to share with you.

We would have loved to have greeted you In person, but we are 1300 miles north of you. Our most wonderful realtor, who helped us find this house, Is our property manager and will be your point person during your stay. You'll meet Michelle on the next page.

Delray Beach was once named “Most Fun Small Town in the USA” by Rand McNally and USA Today – and it's easy to see why. Nestled between Boynton Beach and Boca Raton, Delray Beach is famous for its lively main street, inviting beach weather, a thriving arts scene, and interesting culture that

stretches back centuries.

"Paradise 101" is located in the Del-Ida Park Historic District which is the first subdivision created in Delray Beach. It was plated in 1923 during the Florida land boom. It is 58 acres and the neighborhood boundary streets are Northeast Fourth St., Northeast Eighth St., North Swinton Ave., and Northeast Third Ave.

What we love about the Del-Ida district Is Its proximity to Atlantic Avenue and the beach. We rarely get In our car and all we love to do Is just a stroll or a bike ride away. We hope you love It as much as we do!

Bedner's Farm Fresh Market takes great pride in being one of the few remaining family-owned and operated farmer's market in South Florida, bringing you fresh produce from the farm, grown right outside our back door.

There is a great fish market next to Bedner's. If you enjoy cooking your own fish, not to be missed!

The minute you enter the parking lot, this grocery store experience is sensory overload. Several employees are strategically stationed outside directing traffic and diverting fender benders. Once inside, narrow aisles and thousands of products vying for shelf space don't leave much room for the hundreds of leisurely, cart-pushing patrons. At times, it feels more like a bumper car arena than a food shopping mecca.

Oddly enough, this seems to be part of The Boys' charm.

The GreenMarket is a Saturday morning destination as an open air marketplace located at Old School Square Park on NE 2nd Avenue, about 1/2 mile away. The Delray GreenMarket has become one of the most popular and charming aspects of the
