As a Member-owned insurance company, Caring Communities offers financial returns on our Members’ ability to keep claims low and make investments in safety. As owners, Members receive cash dividends and own all capital and surplus. Caring Communities has historically returned 31% of Member premiums—over $100 million—in cash dividends and equity account allocations.

Leading the industry, Caring Communities’ Continuing Care Risk Management System provides Member organizations with knowledge and best practices to improve their risk management programs, and thus help reduce the number of losses, the severity of each loss and the average loss cost.

Throughout the year, Member risk management professionals participate in on-site, classroom and web-based training and events. Our flagship educational event is the annual National Aging Services Risk Management Conference, where more than 200 of the nation’s top risk professionals gather to learn, share and be on the cutting edge of emerging risks in the industry.
