Rules and Notes
Qualifying: Routines qualify through being the highest scoring routine(s) in a discipline at a regional event. However, a minimum score of 90 (or 88 for mini/petite age solo/duo/trio divisions) at a regional event is required to advance to the provincial finals. The number of
qualifiers per event is based on the size/number of entries per location/division.
Any Top Ten Solo: Qualifying dancers may select from any of their Top Ten solos. For example, if they finished first overall with their Jazz solo, and their Lyrical was 3rd overall or anywhere in
the top ten, they may register the solo of their choice. Exception: TAPQUEST & Allégro Video Upload: Videos should be exported at 720p and should not exceed 5gb in size. Videos are
uploaded by the studio and may be their “best video of the year.” Videos may not show branding of any kind, including studio logo branding or dance competition branding. Videos are
due by June 25th 2021 with the broadcast set to take place July 10th and 11th.
Registration Notes: Registration is entirely optional and completed by studios online, standard associated day registration fees apply. Sorry there are no discounts for being a virtual event due the increased judging panel required at provincials and the long-term company losses that have
resulted from the Covid-19 pandemic. Touching/contact at provincials is NOT permitted.
Dynasty Aerial and Acrobatics does NOT qualify for provincials with the exception of the overall winner, Ruler of the Dynasty.
