If you are a developer, you may be familiar with some of the formats we accept. If you send us a file in one of the formats listed below, we can extract the text instantly, then send you back the translation in the original format you sent it, variable names, markup, and all (permitted your file is marked up as the examples listed here). All you’ll have to do is plug the new file into your
application.

You can submit your text as a spreadsheet for-matted into three columns.
The first column can contain any arbitrary labels you want (this text will be ignored).
The second must contain the text you want translated.
The third must left blank (this will be filled in with the translated text upon completion).

Translation Cloud uses two-letter codes to rep-resent the languages for each project.
The codes generally follow the ISO 639-1 Code standards, with a few exceptions (see Chinese for example). For most projects, you may not need to know the language code, unless you are submitting your text as an XLS or XLSX spreadsheet.
