CF53 PUNDITO

Early age-concrete (fresh concrete) is the most critical part in its life span. The concrete must be cast as soon as it was mixed. Using concrete that e«eeded the mixing time limit will significantly reduced its strength difficulty in placing concrete into formwork. Monitoring of fresh concrete before it was place into formwork is crucial because it canpreventthe possible use of concrete that exceed mixng time limit. An ultrasonic based system codenamed PUNDITO CF53 is developed to measure fresh concrete that can be used in determining the age of fresh concrete. The developed system equipped with ultrasonic pulser- receiver and two50 kHz transducers

A P P L IC A T IO N S The developed system can be applied in varioustypes of built ❖ Buildings ❖ Bridges

ADVANTAGES

This system can offer following advantages as compared to o her method: ❖ Fast, Cheap 8 Safe ❖ Tough and rugged system ❖ Data can be stored ❖ Real time measurement ❖ Provide quantitative data

NDT M o b ile Digital

Radioscopy System "

The System was designed to accommodate th e needs o f low cost, m obile, high speed and real tim e inspection using Radiography Technique (RT). Currently th e system has been used in field services provided by Nuclear Malaysia

• Digital image formation • Direct and dynamic visualization • Ability for automatic defect recognition •Qualified for Class A radiographic test in accordance to ISO/DIS 17632-2 risk of high radiation exposure dose towards radiation workers

C ALBLO C K is a new calibration block invented to help the industrial radiographers in know ing th e sensitivity of th e thickness o f th e pipe w h ile it is insulated. This is very useful to the radiographers in th e oil and gas industries especially w hen pe rfo rm in g th e Tangential

Robotic Ultrasonic Scanning System (RUSS) Non Destructive Testing (NDT) is very important for quality control of engineering structural and material. This technology is important especially for human safety and the reliability of the industrial plant. Robotic Ultrasonic Scanning System (RUSS) is an advanced technique of ultrasonic testing which utilize computerized techniques in evaluating and interpreting signal reflected from any sound reflectors including flaws located inside materials. One of the most commonly used imaging techniques is known as C-Scan system. The system collects both ultrasonic data and the position tracker to create a C-Scan map of the sample being inspected.

(8)

RT SAFE 053

The nature of work in Radiography Testing (RT) causes its operator tc receive high dose as compared to other field of work that uses radiation. The dose received by workers could increase if improper setup usage is performed. Operators tend to use the most convenient setup to ensure their production target is achieved with ease and on time. This practice is against the rule and might cause fatal and severe consequence to the public and the operator himself

This innovation introduces a new device codenamed RT SAFE 053 is a complete kit that w ill change the scenario and reduces dose that operators receive. RT SAFE 053 increase safety, increase productivity and quality of inspection especially on small pipes. The device has been applied in the field and can increase up to 50% in production while not compromising safety at all.
