Waypoint

About LinguaFolio
LinguaFolio is designed to assist students with guidance from their instructors in
assessing and describing individual language skills and to facilitate articulation from high school to the university level. The three sections of the portfolio are available to teachers and students for building individual portfolios in notebooks and/or as electronic files. LinguaFolio:
• Facilitates the earning of college credit for language study completed in high school
• Recognizes the needs and motivation of learners and to help them set learning goals
• Develops culturally responsive programs for learner strengths and needs • Obtains information about the language learners previous language learning

Desire2Learn
Information within the Desire2Learn ePortfolio can be structured and made consistent across a course, program or organization. Forms and rubrics created by instructors can be shared across the entire organizational structure. This data can be aggregated to
determine the extent of the correlation between the users' grade performance and their real-world experience.
Institutions gain knowledge through data on the users' progress toward learning outcomes and the degree of shared learning and collaboration.
Instructors can aggregate individual efforts at the course, departmental, and institutional level. Robust reporting allows powerful longitudinal and temporal analysis.
