Is a contract agreement required?
Authorised Resellers sign a contract and are given CSN number. These are the only resellers that can sell all Autodesk products.
Maintenance/upgrade insurance:
• Subscription provides: software upgrades, ancillary products and services like extensions, previous version rights, home use rights, extra territory rights.
• Autodesk 360 storage, sharing, viewing and AutoCAD® WS DWG™ editing are available with 25GB of cloud-based Autodesk® 360 storage space per seat for subscription and are valid for the duration of the customer’s subscription term.
• With a subscription to an Autodesk software product or suite, customers receive 100 cloud credits per license for every year of subscription purchased (LT Point Products are excluded). Cloud Credits are the unit of measure our customers need to perform certain tasks such as creating a rendering or running a simulation in Autodesk 360. This enables customers to increase mobility and simplify collaboration with clients, colleagues and business partners.
• License management tools, telephone support or web support are only available for subscription customers.
• Tools for analysis, simulation, rendering and collaboration are all attached to the value of the subscription in the cloud.
• There are also learning resources, e-DVDs, podcasts, e-books and technical knowledge base for subscription customers.
Is maintenance compulsory?
Only for some products as indicated in the price list and/or Upgrade Eligibility Matrix.
Pro-rata option:
• Subscription contracts may be pro-rated in order to merge or align contract end dates and for budgetary reasons (for example, end of financial year) provided the first agreement is set to expire within 90 days before or 30 days after the expiry date and the pro-ration is no more than 1 year.
• Not available on new seats without explicit Autodesk approval.
Length of agreement:
Only 1, 2 or 3 years (multi-year, no parts of years unless pro-rata rules apply).
Renewal grace period:
• 90 days prior to the expiration date of the subscription contract and up 364 days afterwards. Earlier renewals are not permitted.
• Customers can renew subscriptions within 30 days after their contract expiration date without penalty or additional charges.
• Contracts that have been expired for the previous 31 to 364 days are eligible for
late renewal processing. The customer must pay the per-seat late renewal fee located on the price list.
Note: Order must be processed by Autodesk on the 364th day, no grace periods apply.

Open Value Subscription offers the same benefits as Open Value, but with lower up-front costs. With Open Value Subscription you have the ability to increase or decrease your license count on an annual basis to accommodate changes in your overall desktop PC quantity.
This program provides access to Microsoft software licenses for the term of the agreement through subscription-based licensing. With an initial purchase of five or more licenses or five qualified desktops, you can acquire Microsoft products as you need them over the
