Creative Concepts

Our in-house design team collaborates to create themes and concepts to meet our client’s needs, goals and budgets. Initial in-depth discussions are held with clients. Concepts are presented and feedback is encouraged. Concepts are altered until clients are satisfied that all needs are met.

Graphic Design and Production

Our graphic designers create graphic packages based on existing themes or new concepts. Ideas are presented to clients for approval. FASTSIGNS®

Alexandria and ExpoGraphics offers in-house production of ink jet graphics mounted to a variety of substrates, vinyl logos and graphics and variety of 3-D graphics produced on our CNC router.

Exhibit Design and Construction

We offer creative exhibit design with functionality in mind. All designs will be presented in a 3D rendering format for client approval prior to construction. Shop plans are created from designs then reviewed by designers and project managers. We design and build custom exhibits, modular exhibits and portable displays, and also offer a full line of accessories to customize our client’s exhibits.

Unique Process

Workflow and Design Process

To get started, your Account Executive, along with members of our Design Team will meet with you to discuss the project, review schedules and set dead-lines. Initial meeting topics include questions about the form and function of the exhibit, costs and deadlines. Designs are submitted along with costs until the client’s goals are met. Upon approval of the design, an order is electronically processed, production is scheduled, materials are ordered and shop plans are created and distributed. Our Project Managers oversee the production through to completion. Larger projects include a final walk-through with the client. One-Stop Source

FASTSIGNS® Alexandria and ExpoDisplays are equipped to handle most every aspect of an exhibit project, reducing the amount of outsourcing needed. Our in-house capabilities include design, fabrication, and installation of exhibit

components, and graphics, including 3-D graphics. Our facilities include modern workspaces and equipment including a CNC (computer numeric controlled) router for precise fabrication of each component needed for completion of an exhibit.

40 Years

ExpoDisplays is a leading designer and manufacturer of portable and custom trade show exhibits since 1970. We set the industry’s pace in creative design, innovative new products and state-of-the-art manufacturing systems. We build the finest quality exhibits for the serious exhibitor.

ExpoDisplays is the largest exhibit house in Alabama (with locations in Birming-ham and Huntsville), and one of the nation’s leading display manufacturers with over 200 distributors worldwide.

Prior to 2001, the company, operating as Diamond Displays International, was a full-service exhibit house serving Alabama customers through a factory direct sales force, and the rest of the nation through authorized distributors. In 2001, Diamond Displays purchased competitor ExpoDisplays of Tampa, Florida, and moved the entire ExpoDisplays operation to Birmingham. ExpoDisplays, founded in 1970, was one of the oldest and best-known display manufacturers with over 120 distributors worldwide. Because of this, Diamond Displays officially changed its name to “ExpoDisplays, a Division of Diamond Displays International.”

Portable Integration

Portable and Modular Displays

Most exhibit houses manufacture either custom exhibits or portable/modular exhibits. Typical custom exhibit houses have to purchase their client’s porta-ble exhibits from outside manufacturers, and portaporta-ble/modular manufacturers have to send their clients elsewhere for custom exhibit services. ExpoDisplays is different because we do everything in-house (we manufacture over a dozen product lines, including graphics). We are a full-service custom exhibit house and a manufacturer of portable/modular trade show displays. Our clients ben-efit from lower costs, faster turnaround and the peace of mind in having one source that can do it all.

Custom Interiors

Streamlined Workflow

We provide a simple, innovative process for creating impressive environments. We handle everything: Consultation, Design, Construction and Installation. This unique approach results in the inspiring interior you want without the complicat-ed processes found in conventional interior design and construction methods. Our portfolio includes reception desks, conference and training rooms, show-rooms, lobbies and more. The process works for both small and large projects. We can focus solely on an individual element such as a desk for a lobby or con-ference room, or take on more extensive assignments such as transforming an entire building’s interior into one cohesive, dynamic environment.

Preserving History

Museums and Recognition Walls

We help you preserve your legacy or honor those who have contributed to your organization by creating beautiful recognition walls, displays, cases and muse-ums. We utilize an award-winning, state-of-the-art software program to create interiors. The 3-dimensional, photo-realistic renderings show you exactly what your interior will look like before construction begins. Every detail is represented, even down to the type of lighting that will be utilized. What you see is truly what you get.

We also help you establish a budget, and then we design to that budget, so you are confident your price will not change unless you change the design.

A sales center designed by ExpoDisplays helps cre-ate an experience that turns visitors into residents.
