GRADUATION SONG

THE JOURNEY

Half the world is sleeping, Half the world’s awake, Half can hear their hearts beat

Half just hear them break I am but a traveler Been most everywhere Ask me what you want to know

What a journey it has been And the end is not in sight But those stars are out tonight And they’re bound to guide my way

When they’re shining on my life I can see a better day I won’t let the darkness in What a journey it has been

I have been to sorrow I have been to bliss Where I’ll be tomorrow

I can only guess Through the darkest desert

Through the deepest snow Forward, always forward I go

What a journey it has been And the end is not in sight But those stars are out tonight And they’re bound to guide my way

When they’re shining on my life I can see a better day I won’t let the darkness in What a journey it has been Forward, always forward

Onward, always up Catching every drop of hope

In my empty cup What a journey it has been

And the end is not in sight But those stars are out tonight And they’re bound to guide my way

When they’re shining on my life I can see a better day I won’t let the darkness in What a journey it has been What a journey it has been

MESSAGE

Congratulations to our dear graduates! My appreciation goes out to the teachers, school administrators, staff, and parents who have supported and walked with our graduates to reach this milestone.

Today is a testament to your collective efforts – the fruit of your hard work and perseverance. Once again, you have proven that with competence, compassion and a zeal for excellence you can accomplish anything.

Dear graduates, as you turn a new leaf towards the achievement of your dreams, bear in mind the values and lesson you have learned throughout your stay in school. Your education has given you the skills to move forward, to pursue your purpose, and to actualize your dreams. Your education continues to cement your foundations to become a better Filipino; one with a keen sense of both self and community, and one who is mindful of diversity that is grounded on acceptance, tolerance, and peace. This year’s graduation theme “Saktong Buhay: Sa De-Kalidad na Edukasyon Pinanday” calls to mind the importance of education as we build the foundations of our dreams. Let this be a reminder of the stories of our fallen and living heroes, soldiers and teachers alike, who preserved in their education to secure a decent life for their families. It impresses upon us the power of education in ynlocking doors of opportunities and enabling us to pave the path to adignified and productive life, a life that is lived not only for ourselves but also for others.

As you forge ahead, you will experience moments of victories and defeats: Let your triumphs be an inspiration for other people; let your losses serve as your motivation to strive for excellence. Let all these collective experiences inspire hope in us to seek greater heights and aspire for a higher purpose. Throughout it all always be mindful of the people who help you along the way and pay it forward to others who will need your help too.

For us in the schools, may this theme guide us all as we go forth and realize our mission to provide Filipino learners a quality education that will empower them to attain their life goals.

Mabuhay kayo!

MESSAGE

My heartfelt Congratulations to all the graduates, parents, faculty and staff and all stakeholders of Cabalabaguan Elementary School!

This year’s graduation theme “Saktong Buhay: Sa Dekalidad na Edukasyon Pinanday”, bespeaks how quality education shapes the future lives of our school children. The quality of life they will have tomorrow is dependent on the learning they have gained today.

As we all share one dream that no Filipino child will left behind, we pool our efforts together so that each graduate will be given equal chances at excelling in any endeavor. The competencies, skills and values demanded by the 21st century should be developed while they are under our tutelage.

We need to build the strong foundation and strengthen the moral fiber of these young boys and girls who will man the ropes of the future generations. And as they proceed to another level of education pursuits, it is our fervent hope that they have become better persons, dauntless to face the challenges of tomorrow. If we have given them every opportunity to better their lot, and eventually be the productive and responsible citizens that we expect them to be, then we have succeeded in our efforts and we have fulfilled our mission.

To the graduates, the future may spell success or failure. With a focused direction, an incisive mind, and faithful heart, you will be victorious. Go forth, conquer the crown and build a better Philippines!

To everyone whose support, love and concern for our children have become strong pillars of the department, may you continue to help nurture young minds. Being partners to this noble endeavor is your greatest contribution to nation-building.

Again, Congratulations and Godspeed!
